Review: One of the most commonly-asked questions in house circles in recent times is 'whatever happened to Sebo K?' Judging by this new release on Mobilee, it appears that he's still adept at crafting old-school inspired big room house tunes. The title track is a typical Sebo K affair, its rolling groove opening up for a repetitive, building synth line - inspired as usual by Lil' Louis - and heavy, doubled up claps. The 'stripped down version' features much the same approach, but is less over the top - yet Sebo rings changes on "Shades of Red". There, a brooding bass scatters vocal snippets over hissing percussion and acidic blips, while "Fragments" sees him experiment with shuffling, garage drums.
