Review: The first release from breakbeat label Breakz R Boss of the new year sees Canadian turntablist Somsay tear it up on "Crack Fever". With some gonzoid stacked drum fills, gritty distortion bass and a sea of samples scattered over the mix, Somsay mixes gnarly breaks with an echoey, dancehall skank on this red-blooded winner. Eddie Voyager adds even more woozy menace to his remix - as well as a vicious bassline - while Youthful Implants come through with a killer dubstep overhaul to round off the essential breaks release of the week.
