Review:
Although there's a few claimants to the Spooky moniker, this one is a grime DJ who hails from London's East End. Here, fledgling label Oil Gang have coaxed a pretty varied release from the man behind 2010's cult hit, "Spartan". "Coolie Joyride" is a cut up of a familiar Coolie riddim, famously featured in Nina Sky's hit 'Move Ya Body'. "Electric Fence" is swaggering half-time electro dancehall and "Rhythm & Slags (Part 2)" is a menacing electro-grime anthem.

Review:
Badman tune alert! Spooky finally unleashes one of the most hyped dubstep tracks of the year, and it's about time. Treading the infinitely fine line between unique and sounding like something you've already heard before; "Playground's" slow-mo, almost lazy, funk manages to sound like both Dead Prez and Shy FX but does so with its own flavour. Naturally the creative vibes abound throughout the whole release thanks to the alien laser fight "Toxic Paradise", the angular, rust-bleeding hymn service "Utter Madnezz" and the Psycho-style strings on "News Flash".

Review:
The MicroCastle label continues to knock out everything from progressive to techno, all at the highest standard and uncovering some seriously interesting and talented producers. This latest outing from Spooky is prime example, perfect for the dark underground rooms. Fill the smoke machines, drop at just the right time and hear the rumbling bassline smash the speaker stack and cause the dance-floor to go nuts.. Its simplistic in arrangement but has plenty of energy to carry right through, with twist and turns and bubbling acid lines cutting through the mix. Psycatron gets even more twisted on his cut while Petar Dundov heads down a deeper route... Wicked release!!
