Review: TC strikes back after the storming success of "Tap Ho" with a four-track EP on his own Don't Play label. The title track kicks off with an intro that is a computer game style frenzy of thrashing guitars, crashing drums and euphoric trance synths. Falling into the drop with a bellow of synths and Jakes' throaty, husky tones, it's a drumstep power house of a tune. "New Style" is all DJ Fresh style synth squeaks and throbbing beats, whilst "Psyco" recalls the mid-noughties TC of grizzled bass fame. "Times Change" is an apt way to finish, and recalls the work of Hud Mo and Rustie with its bleepy, fidgety synth melodies and 8 bit SFX.

Review: Here's a question for you: did TC ever get his money? He certainly made a rather a lot of noise in pursuit of debts owed a few years back. Of course, since then he's gone from strength to strength, dropping all manner of heavyweight anthems. "Tap-Ho" is another stone-cold killer, an addictive combination of rolling old skool breaks, darting electronics and a seriously rush-inducing synth breakdown, all held together by a typically sub -bothering bassline. Flipside Dread MC collab "Don't Play" is just as incendiary in its own way. An intense dubstep wobbler, it sounds like the theme song to an impending nuclear war.
