Review:
These two breakbeat crushers from The Brainkiller aren't afraid to let melody take a front seat, while also staying thoroughly upfront and hardcore with the beats and bass. "Do Not Put" kicks hard with big drums and brash scratches and cuts, but it's "Game Over" that's the real jewel in the crown. Featuring a long and building intro that winds itself around some dirty synthlines, the beat finally drops after a vocal announces: "3-2-1...Game Over". It's a priceless moment, and Brainkiller's beats really set things off after such a dramatic build-up - well worth a listen for that drop alone.

Review:
Well well well, we've seen some garish attempts to rack up a following on Twitter but never anything as blatant an EP called "Follow Me". It's a good job this request - nay, order! - is delivered in such a delightful musical form. Classic early noughties vibes ride throughout as The Brainkiller takes us back the golden age of breakbeats. "Funky Night" is a real chunky funkster with early shades of Cut La Roc and Freq Nasty while "Stick" is more reminiscent of the Stantons back in their early UKG days. But the real star of the show is the title track; rolling and rasping like an Zinc record circa "138 Trek", it's enough to make you sign up to Twitter just to follow Mr Brainkiller.

Review:
Spain's The Brainkiller loads up four more gritty breaks punishers for this new release on Distorsion, with title tune "Lola" riding live percussion hits over a flange-heavy bass sequence, "Shake" looking to the stars with some astral arpeggios while "On & Off" uses fragments from a classy '90s R&B classic over its punchy drums. "The Sweet Song" rounds off the single with touches of '80s movie soundtracks floating over the tweaked bass and nose diving lead sounds.

Review:
Italian breaks demon The Brainkiller gets deep and moody on these three new tunes for the Distorsion label, with "Neptuno" reaching out into the cosmos with some crunchy, galloping synth work and astral strings firmly tied down by hefty, full-fat beats. Title tune "Physical" continues the space-meets-bass theme, with a triplets breakdown launching off into a full-on beat-driven assault while final tune "Profundo" gets truly epic with an orchestral charge ushering in a truly immense drop.
