Review:
Following on from the rollercoaster ride of garage, house, techno, dubstep and hip-hop that made up The Count & Sinden's debut album, a first-class cast of remixers have been hooked up to rejig the LP as they see fit. Fake Blood takes "Beeper" out on a crunchy, garage-heavy journey, while Canblaster takes "Future" down to a demented disco and smashes heavy industrial drum hits together with classic piano house. "Llamame" gets a moombahton rejig from the genre's founder Dave Nada, and xxxy does a beautiful job with "Desert Rhythm" - filtering the original's Mexican riffs over an urgent and hugely funky tropical beat. With more ace remixes from D1, Ado, Bambounou, and The Count & Sinden themselves, this makes for a very satisfying second bite of the cherry.
