Review: "How Deep is Your Love" is The Rapture's anthemic return to form after years in the wilderness, along with their return to DFA, and this EP sees three big names taking on the track. The Emperor Machine turns in his fourth remix for DFA with a typically masterful analogue recreation which balances the euphoria of the original with his more low-slung echo laden synths. Populette offer a similarly extended synth led reworking, adding their brittle, percolating sound to the original before building to a claustrophobic crescendo at the end. A-Trak meanwhile creates a bass heavy electro monster which maintains all the track's piano driven ecstacy - but it's his treatment of the saxophone solo that really impresses, creating some Mr. Oizo-esque wizardry that recalls the schizophrenia of the classic "Patrick 122".
