Tomb Crew At Juno Download

Review: The Black Butter crew deliver another EP of essential jungle inspired cuts from a number of big names. RackNRuin & Hostage collaborate for "Dangerous", a breakbeat infused roller filled with roaring bass wobbles, nicely offset with some eski synth action, whilst Pixel Fist remixes Warrior One's "The Jump Off", delivering a huge dubstep inspired breakdown, complete with exceptional flow from Durrty Goodz. Finally, Tomb Crew deliver an electro house inspired cut laden with tropical percussion and dirty bassline action with a garage flex in its insistent rhythms, coming to a soaring glitch fuelled climax. Well worth checking!

Review: Nottingham's Tomb Crew continue to impress with this fierce, fast and highly funky trio of tunes out on Trouble & Bass. The pacey 4/4 stomp of "Oh So Good" is destined to become a DJ favourite - a rude crossover between house rhythms and dubstep/UKF sounds, while the Mantronix tribute "King Of The Tweets" pinches that immortal siren sample and adds it to a post-hardcore set of rave pianos and pads. Staying on a early 90s hardcore vibe, "FIYT Night" rocks the "Think" break and adds some heavenly synth-strings to round off an excellent release from T&B.
