Review: Released on German house label Milk & Sugar, which briefly played host to Kid Alex (now of course known as Boys Noize), Warren Clarke's "Everybody" is a perfect summer house jam that's thankfully free of any cheese, despite the presence of brass hits and Chic-like basslines. On a mainroom tip, Yves Murasca & Ezzy Safari smooth out the beats nicely and drop the spoken-word vocals of the original over one of its languid breakdowns, while Sean Finn gets his filters out to create a Balearic beauty. Funkanomics really shine on their treatment, with the German trio chopping and dicing up the funk to perfection over an Ed Banger-esque beat.
