Review: Willo Schubarth is a new name to the In The Woods roster. The Colorado-based producer makes chugging, midtempo deep house music that borrows heavily from classic house and late night disco. Typically of an In The Woods release, he also moves around the tempos, offering both intoxicating slo-mo fare (the excellent "Our Own Dance") and gloriously up-tempo peaktime jams (the clipped funk guitars and heady disco vibes of closer "Stroll"). When he brings it all together, on the old skool-meets-new skool house jam "Cherry Lips & Roller Skates" (think early Basement Jaxx meets Matthew Kyle), More Than A Fling is suitably magical.
