Review: Whether or not this release captures or defines the prevailing spirit is open to debate, but there is no question that it does a neat line in deep house. The title track is powered by a slinky baseline and tight claps, but it's the chiming organs and resonating black vocal that really set it apart from other releases in the house vein. Glom's remix opts for a rougher approach, with a grungy bass and the vocal altered to sound like a menacing rumble. "Something That Repeats" and "Flow" also follow a similar path, but on both occasions, the focus remains on tight drums and bouncy rhythms rather than lyrical flourishes.
