Review:
From Bombtraxx comes this collaboration between Andrey Mute (Access Denied) and Jellyfish which already has DJs like Hexadecimal and Freq Nasty on side. The title tune "Underwater Boogie" is a brilliant and bassy shuffler, with some devastating half-speed builds. "Sweet Acid" however is a real pearl, with a swung beat at a breakbeat tempo, heavy ragga vocals and some vicious arpeggios that cut through the song halfway in. Two restless, fidgety tunes that we think breakbeat heads need to seriously give the once over.

Review:
Serious sample spotting games can be had on "Do What You Do"... Which do you hear first: Jungle Brothers or Shaft? There's at least three more biggies in the mix. And what's more, they work really well together amidst the low-swung midtempo breakbeat groove. "Funky Mamselle" is equally smooth; it's a big band driven workout with massive Cuban heels, a well placed female rap and a very cheeky Basement Jaxx sample at the very end - guaranteed swing and surprise to any party.
