Review:
"You Lost": Two of the worst words to ever go together in the history of the English language. Unless it's by way of this pumping, slightly psychedelic tech-funk-flavoured breakbeat thumper from longstanding Spanish producer A2C then, ironically, you actually win. "On" is more your classic stabby bass breakbeat with a funky, nagging low-end groove, a series of well textured basses and some delicate piano strokes. Trust us: There are no losers here.

Review:
"Dance Or Die"... What a choice! It's safe to say we'll take the 'dance' option. Especially with beats as sprightly as these. Flipping between a guttural bass riff and a more vibrant, uplifting hook, Aggresivnes has combined the very best elements of electro and breaks right here. For a more subversive, glitchy flavour head for Royal Blood's remix. Now dance like your life depends on it!

Review:
Kerrie Price and Paul Chadwick aka Backdraft have been making breakbeat for the best part of ten years, followed closely by big names such as Plump DJ's, Rennie Pilgrim and Tayo, and they're finally back Botchit & Scarper - true break addicts since 1995! "Skreamin Out Loud features the voice of Ebere and comes through with a thumping, rip-roaring bundle of snares and piercing synth stabs. "Pon A Knife Edge" is more jungle-led and features the one like Fox, whilst D-Region and Code mould the title track into a chest-bursting d&b bullet. Warrior 1 takes care of remixing "Pon A Knife Edge", reducing it to a resolutely old-school tune - but not in the sense of the word, we mean the genre! Oh yes...

Review:
Serious booty-fusion abounds on this new series from Booty Fruit. Badboe introduces Jeru The Damaja and Ini Kamoze to a disco bassline. Roast Beatz gives Grand Puba a sexy, sun-kissed facelift. El Bomba and Hidden Riddim go back to school on their Akai and get clever with a range of well-known samples and big old juicy bassline. Waggles finishes the set with the cheekiest addition that sees the Beastie Boys on a lounge lizard samba flex. Party insanity.
