Review: This young French producer has been dropping some storming breaks bangers of late. Following tracks like "Have A Cookie" and "Back To The Drop", TGO smashes it once again with the electro/trance fusion of "Bleaching It" - a fiery and demonic 128bpm trek that rides thick waves of bassy goodness over a springy and crunchy sequence. Moscow's Yreane is equally charged on the remix, using a familiar frat boy anthem for some acapella shots whilst topping up the mix with brittle, distorted lead sounds.

Review: For the 20th instalment of the happy-go-lucky Bomb Strikes bootleg series, label regulars Moquee and Pimpsoul join forces. Those who've enjoyed their previous work will no doubt be salivating already - or at least dribbling profusely. "Keep Pounding" is typical of their cheeky, party-hearty style, turning shuffling classic "The Beat Goes On" into a snappy, stepping, glitch-laden breaks banger. "Let It Pop", meanwhile, wobbles and raves in all the right places, lacing a familiar hip-hop vocal over a typically pounding backdrop. Closer "Do It" sits somewhere between the two tracks, cutting up Chic's "Le Freak" and adding a silly, rectum-slackening bassline to propel things forward.

Review: The bass fanatics at the Mutate label usher in their first jams of the new year with twelve of the best from their roster of electronica-cum-wobbly tech-breaks and dubstep producers. Among our favourites so far are AC Revery's ambient-leaning "Sweeping Sunset", the mean glacial half-step of Mike Lennon's "Bleepwalker" and the timeless dancehall-electro of Koian's severly bumping "Boomshot". There's plenty to get stuck into here though over these 12 juiced-up tracks - a must for fans of superior breaks and bass.
