Strakes is A&R and label manager of Lost My Dog Records, the label he owns with Pete Dafeet and Nags Modhadia. He also runs the Kahua Music company, which offers promotional and publishing services to record labels and artists and is one half of production duo Strakes & Dafeet. Lost My Dog was established in early 2005 and quickly established itself as, in the words of iDJ Magazine, ?one of the most impressive deep house labels to emerge in the UK recently?, with accolades raining in from all manner of leading worldwide DJs including Groove Armada, Nic Fanciulli, Jimpster, Phil Weeks and Inland Knights. As a DJ Strakes has played all over the UK alongside the likes of Norman Jay, Farley ?Jackmaster? Funk, Diz, Greenskeepers and Rob Mello at nights including Stylus, Clubclass, CityFly and at the legendary Bomb nightclub in Nottingham. He has also won the coveted ?Raw Talent' competition in iDJ magazine.
