TREVOR VICHAS
APRIL CHARTBeing a naturally quirky person, Trevor is full of energy and a love for music & computers. He was influenced by the sounds of Detroit and Chicago house/techno that were so vibrant in Portland and Seattle in the mid to late 90's. After a couple of years of nodding his head to beat, spending the afternoons in Portland's Starbass Records learning about music, and watching the likes of Kenny Larkin, Traxx, Stacy Pullen, Doc Martin and Mark Farina work the decks for hours, Trevor began collecting vinyl in 1997, and mixing in 2000.
In 2003 dj'ing and promoting became a huge part of Trevor's life. Trevor is known for being a trooper for sure - from closing the night out, to rocking the after party until well past the sun has come up. It's all about the smiling faces, the groove and that feeling inside for this guy.
Over the years, Trevor has played along side many top-notch producers and the finest local Seattle, Eugene, SF & Portland Dj's. Trevor has held long-term residencies at The Baltic Room and Karma Lounge in Seattle, WA. Currently he is a resident Dj at Groove Suite.
