APRIL TOP 10Abyss & Judge are a major force in the universe of hardstyle nowadays, having made a giant leap forwards in their musical carreer. Only two years after Gevrey Heijnes (Abyss) and Justin Putuhena (Judge) joined forces with the label Dutch Master Works, they built up an impressive discography and played quite some memorable shows. The dynamic duo Abyss & Judge have performed major events in 2009 like Q-BASE, Ground Zero Festival and Dance Valley, but also travelled to Australia, Germany, Italy, Switzerland, Belgium and Austria as well. Their future agenda features some interesting gigs abroad already. “
With half a dozen stunning tracks out on Dutch Master Works, Abyss & Judge are on schedule to conquer the rest of the world. Their debut track ‘Hardstyle Revolution’ immediately rocked the places – with a Showtek remix later released - followed by a stream of killer tracks; ‘The Vision’/’Rockit’, ’Another World’, ‘Combined Forces’/’Unify’, ‘Stronger’ and ‘International Fame’. In between they finished a remix for Dr. Rude’s artist album, and did a very successful remix for DJ La Nina – sung by X-Factor’s Rachel – that topped the nr.1 position in the Dance charts for several weeks. “We’ve proved that we can perform every possible gig at any place and time”.
Abyss & Judge developed an own and unique sound over the years, that differs from catchy and melodic to harsh and pounding. The duo has planned a stream of exciting releases for 2010. In their new built studio Abyss & Judge work six days a week on new music, soon to be released during 2010. The coming months the dynamic duo will be preparing the next big step. “Building the custom made studio took quite some time, but right now we are back on track and ready to rock!”
