Bass-fond Philth has been busy making a name for himself over the past year or so, exploring the cracks and crevices of drum and bass and eking out a sound that’s as personal to him as it is heavy and lucid. Mostly he concerns himself with making subs tremor under the weight of his production, however the “Perfect Moments” release sees fewer shadows and explores his lighter side. That’s not to say he’s gone soft. He may be having a melodic hiatus, but his beats still bite hard - as you can see from this chart he has an unrelenting Addiction to storming techy beats. He describes the selection as "a snapshot of what I play. I love to roll out deeper beats but it always turns nasty. I've gone over 10 tunes but I like to mix fast anyway.
