Following outings on Buzzin' Fly and Exun, smiling producer Alexander Maier returns to occasional home Moodmusic with a particularly emotive slice of deep house. In typical Maier fasion, there's plenty to get excited about, from the snappy-but-dubby percussion and bittersweet chords to the breezy production, thick synth bass and gentle pianos. The package is strengthened by two excellent interpretations from Prommer & Barck and Sasse. While the latter adds some lovely late night shuffle, it's the former who really excel, adding some bluesy guitars on an emotion-rich, floor-friendly extenstion. In the words of Shakin' Stevens, "lovely stuff".
