Review: This powerhouse duo - a collaboration between none other than Foamo and Rack N Ruin - dropped their killer debut EP last year and since then things have been ominously quiet. Well, now they're back with a stonking great new release that fully explores the pair's interest in all things deep and groovy. "Real" features the vocal talents of rising star Yasmin and manages to be both an exotic pop anthem and a sparse, 4/4 bass head-nodder. "Thor" is nasty dark basement fodder, "Athena" is a lithe, tropical acrobat of a tune and "10 Below" is a sinister house-meets-garage monster.

Review: Arriving at a fifteenth release in little more than three years is no mean feat, and the Wolf Music crew have retained a standard of quality throughout that a few other labels could learn from. Once again switching the emphasis from artist release to a quartet of contributors, WOLF 15 opens with a killer Ron Basejam refix of recent Wolf anthem "Nowt" by James Welsh. Originally a louche slice of beatdown, "Nowt" stays at an even tempo in the hands of the Crazy P artist though there are all new levels of seductive funk added. Complementing this are three label debuts of varying style but equal quality, with Squarehead & Mella Dee (one half of Mista Men no less) opting for a brazen concoction of ruffed up garage rhythms and deep house emotions on "Get Together". Next up, breakout house duo Waze & Odyssey add Wolf to their growing CV with the effervescent cut up house rowdiness of "Feel My Voices" whilst South African producer Terrence Pearce might just steal our affections with the skippy, smudged delights of "Magic".

Needs You by George Fitzgerald on Hypercolour Cue Track
Every Inch (Deetron remix) - (7:06) 126 BPM
from $1.49
Review: The techy and bass-ready label Hypercolour has always had some pretty leftfield tendencies, ranging from its releases with Groove Armada and Neil Landstrumm, to cheeky Aprils fools day pranks all part of the package. However George Fitzgerald's Needs You EP typifies the Hypercolour sound minus any tomfoolery. "Needs You" in particular plays "oh baby" vocals, sucking percussion and melodic keys against vast-monoliths of low end sonics. On the flip is "Every Inch" again by Fitzgerald. Fluted synth spooks and successive clap-tambourine combos swing to a groove that has a moderately lighter mood. Deetron writes a love note to rave and garage in his remix to "Every Inch" by the way of squelchy electronics and nerdy percussion.

Where You Belong - (5:54)

Review: A belated but welcome return for Brooklyn's Razor 'N' Tape crew. This time round, though, they're not cutting-up classic boogie tunes in a Tiger & Woods-ish disco-house style. Instead, they offer up three woozy, all-enveloping deep house cuts from The Groovers. "Here's To You Mr Robinson" laces a classic jazz vocal over a smooth-as-silk deep house groove, while "Make Me Feel" turns a delicious jazz-funk jam into a deep, soulful treat - all twinkling Rhodes, edible horns and sweeping strings. "Where You Belong", on the other hand, goes further into slow dance territory, lacing fluid funk guitars, sensual pianos and a delightful vocal over a deep rare funk groove.

Review: Having rightly made a name for themselves as purveyors of high-grade goodness, House of Disco continues to churn out the hits. Following hot on the heels of their collaborative compilation with Dikso Records comes another hook-up, this time with Kolour Recordings. Given the similarity of both labels' output, it's little surprise that House of Kolour is a bit of a winner. Musically, it's jam-packed with warm, groove-laden cuts that straddle the line where deep house, disco and re-edits meet. Highlights are, naturally, plentiful, from the shimmering beauty of Debonair's Fantastic Man rework and the funtime bounce of Hystereo's "Choral Twist", to the loopy-but-swinging soul of Sleazy McQueen's "Pretty Baby", and the hustling deep house goodness of Medlar's previously unheard rework of Noodleman's ace "Starlight".

Review: Sccucci Manucci once again proves its dancefloor chops with its fifth release, the Cinquemila Lire EP, which sees the London based imprint curl its moustache in the direction of deep house. Manchester based duo Toyboy & Robin open proceedings with "No More Sunshine", an insouciant mix of soulful vocals, shuffling garage percussion and burning deep house organ stabs. It's a heady, intoxicating mix, and it's one that's matched on the A-Side by Sahin Meyer's effort; the husband and wife duo turn in the gorgeous "Spread Love", a cut that wrings every last drop of emotion out of a classic, drummy arrangement. Flip over for "Saif" by Illyus, a twinkling late night excursion into melodic, star gazing house, and "Feel Love" by Firas, one half of the Waze & Odyssey, who rounds off another killer Sccucci 12-inch with raw-thentic smacky beats and an addictive loopy vocal and bassline.

See Through You - (5:23)

Review: With an excellent release on Tusk Wax in his armoury and a notable collaboration with Bicep on their recent Aus EP, Norn Irish lad Ejeca seems primed to follow the trajectory set by the aforementioned burger loving duo. The Horizons EP, his debut for the Needwant imprint sees Ejeca throwing down three tracks that are very much steeped in the same vocal lead New Jersey garage sound that Bicep are currently plundering to great effect, not least on the thickly infectious title track that demonstrates Ejeca's ease for crafting a killer breakdown. "Dazed" eschews the reliance on vocals for some deft chord usage and excellent drum programming, while "See Through You" shimmers with garage indebted warmth.

Review: It's the season for giving, so Hot Since 82 and Shadow Child have decided to exchange presents - or, more specically, remix each other's tracks. The result is a four-tracker that features two original tracks and two remixes. Hot Since 82's snappy, tech-meets-electro house jam "Knee Deep In Louise" gets given a right Royal boot up the backside by bass music fiends Shadow Child - think rave riffs, gut-twisting sub bass action and 2012's most omnipresent electronic music attraction, the pitched-down vocal sample. Meanwhile, Hot Since 82 turn Shadow Child's Hypercolour-ish garage/deep house assault, "So High", into a strobelight house anthem with woozy, pitched down R&B vocal samples and swinging drums aplenty.

Review: Jay 'Chubba' Richards has been popping up all over the place of late, with recent releases on Sirch and Odea Records. Here, he brings his particular brand of contemporary house and UK funky fusion to Republic. "Moody" - so-called because it features a prominent sample from Kenny Dixon Jnr talking about his MPC - sets the tone, layering tough electronic percussion over a monstrous bassline. "Diamonds" sounds like a fusion of classic UKG and '90s house, while "Broken" feels like the sort of thing that Hypercolour should be signing (think nice chords, tasty vocal stabs and bassline-driven deep house flavour). There's also a tougher, UK funky-flavoured tweak from Vedicis and Vanshift that's well worth a listen.

Review: Wow! Are people looking back with rose-tinted glasses to 1995 already? Well at least this 'musical magpie' is only borrowing ideas and sounds rather than copying wholesale! Possibly a bit darker than his previous releases this EP features dubby UKG ("1995"), glitchy, post-dubstep ("Hypno", "Fallen") and even a bit of wobble-heavy UKF ("Roots").

Built around a soaring, emotionally rich bluesy vocal sample, "Guess What" sounds like a more energetic take on jazz-flecked Detroit deep house, with just the right amount of old US garage flavour. "John Doe" takes a similar approach, but moves further towards strobelight-flecked late night groovery - all cut-up vocal hits, relentless organs and swinging drums. A solid package is completed by Leftside Wobble's remake of "Guess What", a deliciously deep and swirling version that demonstrates his continued development as a producer.

Review: According to the dictionary, a squarehead is 'a stupid or inept person'. The dictionary is clearly wrong as this Sheffield producer (aka Oliver Ledger) is a highly adept producer indeed. Oh wait! Maybe it's an ironic moniker! Anyway here he cooks up two juicy dancefloor bombs - "Elegante" being a mid-paced 90s house groover with jazzy overtones and "Now Is Good" bravely going for the whole handbag/speed garage shebang - essential!

Review: Amazingly, it's 15 years since Isolee first tickled our fancy with the deliciously hypnotic and pleasingly melodic micro-house anthem "Beau Mot Plage". He's tried many things in the years since, from stripped-back minimalism to semi-organic loop techno. "Allowance" his first full solo EP for nearly three years, has echoes of his glory days. The darting, fluid "Wobble", for example, employs similar synth stabs of shuffling grooves, while "You Could Do Your Memories" is as heart aching and emotion-rich as any of his Playhouse-era classics. Best of all, though, is "Allowance", a sparse but beautifully appointed slice of deep-tronica underpinned by a loose but sturdy groove.

Review: ISM Records' two Futurism EPs have proved so popular that label boss Yam Who has decided to use them as the inspiration for an expansive compilation of previously unreleased gems. Unlike the label's other popular strand, Midnight Riot, there's always been a bit more of an open-minded, eclectic feel about the Futurism releases. This is no different. Whilst rooted in nu-disco and deep house, Futurism: Shades of Space also touches on 21st century jazz-funk (Manmademusic), bongo-laden spiritual house (Nu Ak's "Fly Away"), fluid garage (Nega Tiv's excellent "Liquid Call"), woozy Balearica (Ben La Desh and Plan DAqua), block party boogie (Questlife feat Wildstyle, Freekwency) and nu-jazz (Hamish Balfour). More importantly, the quality threshold remains high throughout.

Review: Volume Six of the esteemed Sccucci Manucci operation sees the Tom Selleck of disco flecked house rack up the air miles with an international cast of talent contributing. Contemporary disco connoisseurs should be fully aware of Gredits, the Swedish producer with previous on the Basic Fingers label; "Doing It Deep" does it right, seductively teasing out a killer looped up disco groove that gets more flirtatious with every listen. German dwelling Greek producer Elef takes us into classicist house terrain with the infectious bump and shuffle of "Lazy Liz", whilst a long promised Sccucci weapon from The Candy Dealers (aka Christian Malloni & Jay West also sees release. Glaswegian Illyus rounds out the EP, as he returns for a second bite of the Manucci cherry with the late night dubby house goodness of "Movin House".

Review: Although sounding like a Manhattan laundry or maybe a pizza delivery service, Sixth Avenue Express are in fact a nu-disco duo from Peckham. They've generated some pretty large interest since forming in 2011 and now finally we have a much-anticipated new release from them. "Can't Stop Feelin" is not just an anthem for everyone out there incapable of keeping their hands to themselves. No, it's a deep and sensuous slice of the kind of mellow electro-house favoured by the likes of DJ T, and to which Pete Herbert adds some extra percussion and ravey stabs. Classy!

Au Seve - (6:33) 124 BPM

Review: Broadwalk Records, the new label from Bristol house producer Julio Bashmore launches in fine style with the eminently classy Au Seve. Young Bashmore has an obvious talent for productions dripping in hooky qualities (see his still slay em jam "Battle For Middle You" as well as production credits for "Youth Soul" icon Jessie Ware) and "Au Seve" totally belongs in this canon, slipping carnival ready melodic touches and simple vocal loops over a dusted house mainframe dominated by rasping kicks and a killer rising bass line.

Review: Rising Swedish house producer HNNY scored one of last year's most ubiquitous cuts in the shape of "For The Very First Time" which appeared on his debut EP of the same name for Mad Mats' unstoppable Local Talk label. Yearning marks HNNY's long overdue Local Talk return and features yet another immediately infectious production from the Stockholm based producer's armoury along with a superlative remix of his aforementioned hit. As soon as those warm keys wrap around the loose rhythms of "Yearning" you get an sense that HNNY knows how to craft a house production and the subtle vocal hook that comes swooping in will undoubtedly cause requisite chaos. On the remix tip, Local Talk's secret weapon Dirtytwo gets his 80s electro funk on for a blinding rendition of "For The Very First Time". Tiger & Woods would be proud of this one.

from $1.49
Review: Dani Plessow dons the Motor City Drum Ensemble name with Say A Prayer signaling a return to the production game following his much publicized creative burnout. It's clear that Plessow's period of convalescence has worked wonders, with the four tracks here every bit as deep and dusty as the much vaunted Raw Cuts series upon which the MCDE project was launched skywards. Proceedings open with the two part suite of the title track, laying down fuzzy chords and intermittent vocal swoons over a gritty 909 backbone on the opening track; part 2 meanwhile will have you digging out those Raw Cuts 12"s in order to do a MCDE master mix, such is its immediate warmth and neck snapping drums. Meanwhile, Plessow uses "The Stranger" as a chance to traverse bleepier, rattling techno terrain with superb results, whilst "SP11" is rasping high octane house at its finest.

Review: Greenmoney Recordings return with a short but sweet one-tracker from fresh label signing Queenie, a vocalist who's previously worked with Stay+ and Baxta and who makes her production debut on this release. "And Every" is the perfect combination of underground UK house, rhythmic inventiveness and low end bite, with sweet vocals, weighty drums that recall Canadian producer Kevin McPhee and the kind of garage swing of a classic Zed Bias record - an auspicious debut!

Review: With the imminent return of Daft Punk reminding us all of Paris's vibrant electronic music heritage, local label ClekClekBoom pop-up to provide us with a wide-eyed snapshot of the current Parisian underground. There are hints of familiar French staples - the stomping Ed Banger-ish ravery of The Town's "Dice", the classic house flex of Coni's "Missing You Nire" - but for the most part Paris Club Music Volume 1 dances to a different beat. With label regulars French Fries coming to the fore, much of the album is devoted to the sort of hard-to-pigeonhole bass music that takes its influence as much from B-more, R&B and UK garage as filter funk and electro-house.

Review: Having previously impressed with an EP of shuffling deep house disco on Gazeebo International, Australian musician/producer Jad Lee drops an EP of woozy, floor-friendly deepness on Toy Tonics. "Do It Get Up" is indicative of his trademark sound, delivering a strobelight-friendly fusion of chunky bottom-end, wiry synths and thickset chords. Kolombo remixes, offering up a delightfully wonky, stripped-back version that sounds like Sweet Exorcist making nu-disco, under the influence of helium. "Tipsy" throws some weighty electrofunk bass into the mix with impressive results, while the boogie sampling "Lovin" tickles and teases with its blend of jackin' beats and Tiger and Woods-ish cut-ups.

Review: Since dropping his debut release on Hi-Phen in 2005, Toby Tobias has built up an impressive body of work, with EPs on Rekids, Hector Works, Let's Play House and his own Late Night Audio imprint. This EP for Delusions of Grandeur is another slow-burn winner. Lead cut "Pathfinder" gets just the right balance between heavy drum machine programming - think old skool electro or '80s boogie - and contemporary deep house smoothness. Fabrizio Mammarella's hypnotic remix is pretty tasty, too. "Backbeat" provides a hazy tip into Balearic boogie territory, while "Abergon" - with its lazy jazz guitars and Harvey-ish bump - is impeccable wide-eyed White Isle fodder.

Review: The Legendary Sound Orchestra continues his attempt to provide disco edit lovers with something extraordinary, with a third collection of hand picked reworks. Predictably, there's plenty to enjoy, from his own sparse, piano-heavy version of Silvetti's Salsoul classic "Spring Rain", to the rolling, bongo-laden goodness of 78 Edits' sprightly but loopy "Don't You Know". Highlights-wise, it's a toss-up between Alkalino's baggy disco-soul shuffler, "Have A Ball", and Jimmy The Twin's superb, TR-707-enhanced "Party Down". The latter, a horn-heavy chunk of upbeat disco-funk, is arguably the Bristol-based scalpel fiend's best work to date.

Review: Earlier this year, Dusky duo Alfie Granger-Howell and Nick Harriman popped up on Will Saul's Simple Records, delivering dizzying blends of deep house and garage. Here they re-release "Flo Jam", the lead cut from their recent EP of the same name on Dogmatik. It's a delicious track, all told, sitting somewhere between the crystal clear melodies of Futureboogie Recordings (think Eats Everything, Christophe or Crackazat rather than Julio Bashmore), German deep house and classic Chicagoan acid. There's enough old skool swing to make it interesting, but plenty of contemporary style to impress the hipsters.

Review: Having come to the fore via some rather divisive edits of Dorian Concept, Steve Reich and Mariah Carey, the Stockholm based producer HNNY serves notice of his capacity for original productions with this rather fine release on the Local Talk label. This fifteenth release for Mad Mats' resolutely deep house operation maintains the standards set by previous emissions, and it's easy to see why opening track "For The Very First Time" has already been embraced by HNNY's former overseers Studio Barnhus. That all too authentic take on the early 90s NYC house sound is a good primer for what to expect from hereon in, with the similar equation of pitched vocal snatches craftily twisted around infectious yet simplistic melodic motifs and thick bass lines also characterising "Apricots". Do check the percussive 10 minute long behemoth that is "Trummor" for an example of what else HNNY can do - an expert DJ tool in the mould of how they used to be done, back in those days.

Review: Ah, Hot Creations, home to the hippest house music that cites disco and 25 year-old club anthems as its inspirations. Here, label head honchos Jamie Jones and Lee Foss revive their Hot Natured project for a sweet stroll through smiley vocal house territory in the company of one-time electrofunk revivalist Ali Love. "Benediction" is good for what it is - a vaguely deep, pleasant Hot Creations record - but the real killer here is the remix of former single "Forward Motion" by crusty old US garage head Mark "MK" Kinchen. He recalls those glory days of tough but groovy MK dubs with a rework straight out of 1993.

Happa's re-interpretation of "Jupiters" is a thumping beast of a track, where a startling bass drum churns its way across a militant percussion - violent hi-hats and snares all round, coated graciously by the most ominous synth stabs to have ever appeared on a Four Tet record! Jamie XX's take on "Lion" is a calmer, sub-heavy parade of swinging drums and mutating bass lines, growing in ferocity with every new bar.

Review: Cynics will tell you that remix albums are a bit of a con - an exercise in repackaging previously released reworks - but occasionally they're worth picking up. This collection of recent and vintage reworks of Crazy P tracks thankfully falls into the latter category, delivering a mix of classic re-cuts, previously unheard tweaks and previously promo-only mixes. Some of the more Balearic and quietly downtempo tweaks stand out, not least Appleblim's woozily soulful touch-up of "Changes" and Wolf + Lamb's deliciously wide-eyed, downtempo take on "Wecanonlybewhoweare". There's also a chance to revisit some Grade-A club re-fixes from Still Going (whose tough-but-grandiose nu-disco take on "Caught Up" still sounds fresh), Huxley and Bonar Bradberry.

Review: Raphael Ripperton's success has been built on an ability to create slick, emotion-rich house music that joins the dots between crackly European tech and the warm, floor-friendly deepness of the USA. "Let's Hope" is a great example of his art. In its original form, it builds incessantly over 12 lovingly crafted minutes, wrapping vintage synth-strings and piano solos around a sturdy, tribal-influenced groove. Incidentally, the track's main breakdown will have the hairs on the back of your neck standing to attention. Also impressive is the Bicep remix, which turns the emotion-rich original into a thrilling retro-futurist paino house ride.

Review: You can usually rely on Crazy P man Chris "Hot Toddy" Todd to deliver the goods. "Mutha Sucka" comes packed with the usual tasty musical touches - sweeping disco strings, chunky drums, clipped guitars - plus more than a nod and a wink to the woozy, alien-sounding synths preferred by their old pals at Futureboogie Recordings. Todd's usual partner in crime, Jim Baron, dons his Ron Basejam guise for the remix. His version goes a little deeper, sounding not unlike Julio Bashmore producing a Crazy P record. Which, when you think about it, is actually really good.

Review: Following his hit remix of Isolee's Beau Mot Plage, Anu Pillai (aka Freeform Five), rode the crest of the noughties electro-house boom. Then he vanished, or rather switched to co-writing pop for the likes of Cheryl Cole and Ladyhawke. Now he's back on Belgium's arty dance label Eskimo and well, it sounds...different. Hooking up with Gambian musician Juldeh Camara, "Weltareh" is a slice of sleek world music with beats (the plucked intro also sounds like Dolly Parton's Jolene!). Pillai adds some snappy house beats for his own reform, while Prins Thomas provides one of his trademark organic electro-disco interpretations.

Review: Dusky have come far in quite a short space with their modern house music interpretations and make quite a decisive move with a high profile transfer from Simple Records to Aus Music. This is still prime, slickly executed house music but with a healthy amount of bass woven into the mix, not least on the fearsome "Alone". A meaty sub line pulses out under the crisp 4/4 while interludes of found-sound percussion come darting in amongst snippets of vocal for a surefire banger. "Dummy" likewise flexes its brawn with pride, from the snappy beat to the punchy bassline, even as the synth elements are intent on sending the track into more spaced-out places.

Review: Born into life kicking and screaming back in 2010, London via North Devon label Shifting Peaks has slowly but surely earned a killer rep in the world of bass and underground house. This is their second compilation and boy is it packed full of goodies. Highlights include the melancholic urban-tropical vibes of Mak & Pasteman's "Do The Same", the psychedelic Chicago vibes of Marshall Jefferson & Noose Heads' "Mushrooms", the heartbroken jukeisms of Cut Off! Cut Off!'s "Second To None" and the sublime King Of Arabs' "The Years Without Art".

Review: An all-star cast (by Local Talk standards, at least) has been assembled for this latest trip into '90s house territory. C.R.S.T's opener "Monster Munch", was produced in collaboration with Welsh house wizard The Organ Grinder, and bumps along impressively on a bed of skipping garage beats and vocal cut-ups. Chesus's "Newark", meanwhile, doesn't hide its US garage roots, being dominated by the twin attractions of rolling organs and female yelps. The vocal cut-ups on C.R.S.T's "Life" recall Basement Jaxx's "Fly Life", while the music sounds like a mid-'90s New Jersey garage dub. Chesus closes proceedings with "Life", a delicious disco/house fusion brimming with sinewy strings and Teddy Pendergrass-ish vocalizing.

Review: Medlar, who also produces as Klic, drops his first solo EP for London imprint Wolf Recordings. Lush chords and woozy rhodes partner up with "uh-huh" vocal snippets and tribal percussion in "The Sun". James Brown "uh's" and basic synth progressions make up "Knockard Pearl", which receives a stellar Detroit Swindle remix of bolstered stabs that verge on rave. "Govern" lowers the BPM for a shuffled groove, maintaining the lo-fi brilliance of the rest of the EP. A secret weapon for the transitional DJ.

Review: Further proof of the blurred boundaries between nu-disco, deep house and '90s house revivalism is provided by this jaunty four-tracker from Auckland-based studio buff Shallow Taxi Club. There's much to admire about the crisp, vintage house pianos, twittering melodies and bumpin' beats of opener "Flashback", but it's the deep, Crazy P-ish nu-disco groovery of "Mark My Words" that most impresses. Choose between the baggy 'Disco Edit' and a delightfully touchy-feely rework from Greg Wilson faves Monkey Boots. The latter also turn "Melody of Creed" into a gorgeous slice of shuffling deep house bliss.

Review: The fantastically named A/Jus/Ted - veteran producers Justin Strauss and Eddie Mars on a collaborative tip - make their debut on Under The Shade. "A Brighter Light", featuring the treacle-thick soul vocals of Jeremy Glenn, sits somewhere between electro-soul, early Chicago house and Balearic nu-disco. As you'd probably expect from the soul-minded Strauss, the resultant track is effortlessly soulful, quietly uplifting and brilliantly produced. The same could be said of the more instrumental Re A/Jus/Ted remix, which blends skittering proto-house rhythms and electrofunk dub elements with woozy modern deep house. Like the original, it's excellent.

Review: Having previously contributed acclaimed cuts to Wolf Music and Pets Recordings releases, Squarehead makes his debut on Sounds of Sumo. In keeping with his previous output, Close is full of the sort of bouncy, retro-futurist garage fare that's so popular right now; all of the original tracks here are fantastic examples of the sound, from the MK vibes of the title track, to the sparkling pianos of "Part Deux" and bumpin' late night deepness of "Unreal". Remix-wise, head straight for the basement-bothering boom-bap business of CDBL's almighty tweak of "Close".

Review: With two strong releases already under their belts for Southern Fried showcasing their dubby, Visionquest-style house grooves, Jack Fell Down move to Home Taping Is Killing Music for their latest release. This time round, they've got designs on the shuffling, mid-tempo garage house sound that Huxley does so well; the title track achieves all this and more with its atmospheric vocals and thick bassline, while "My Body" continues the theme with its snappy percussion, spacious atmospherics, swaggering bassline and smooth synth buildups. "Provision" meanwhile is another deep excursion into midnight dancefloor territory with its dubbed out, rolling bassline and crisp hi-hats. The Revenge provides his own remix of "My Body" and its expectedly brilliant, imbuing the original with an added sense of urgency and depth.

Don't Get Me Wrong (Tornado Wallace mix) - (6:04) 111 BPM

Review: Recloose on Delusions of Grandeur? Yes please! "Don't Get Me Wrong" is classic Matt Cicioine, packed full of his usual musicality and dense, melodic production. It sounds like an unlikely fusion of distant, long-forgotten disco and spine-tingling deep house, with more atmospheric vocal samples and live instruments than you can shake a smelly stick at. It's heady and intoxicating, coming on like a classic house production made somewhere between Detroit and New York. The driving "Shimmy" continues the murky, retro-futurist trend and is just as engaging. As if that wasn't enough, there's also a lovingly fluid, decidedly Balearic rework of the title track from Melbournite Tornado Wallace that's quite possibly the best thing he's done to date. Splendid!
