Review:
One of Juno's favourite vinyl labels finally enters the digital realm! Voyeurhythm's first sampler EP was super limited and sold out a long time ago, with the bewitching melody and Raw Cuts-style sampling of Ben Sun's "When You Looked" causing a stir among the more discerning disco and house beards. It also served as a launchpad for the producer, whose second release "Salty Tears" was used in Tiger & Woods' recent Resident Advisor podcast. This is complemented superbly by the twilight analogue bump of "Too Many Bells" by Hollywood Nites and languid Sunday BBQ boogie strut of Megadon Betamax's "Heavy Lifting". Juju & Jordash, San Soda, The Revenge, Bill Brewster and Jacques Renault are all certified Voyeurhythm fans - we suggest you check them out too.

Review:
Following well-regarded outings on Kolour, Dikso and House of Disko, Daniel Solar pops up on Nervous Records offshoot Nurvous. With its cutesy vocal, bouncy nu-disco synths, old skool feel and rubbery synth bass, "I Will Have You" sounds like a hit in the making. In some ways, it's quite refreshing that Solar has decided to go down this path; most people in his position would be making their productions deeper, not more accessible. Either way, it's a fun record that neatly joins the dots between old skool house, deep house and sparkling nu-disco.

Review:
The consistently impressive Dikso imprint returns with label stalwart Daniel Solar taking the reigns of this four track EP. The uptempo vibe, burning chords and occasional acid squiggles on "A Walk In The Park" make it primed for immediate club play, while "Can You Really Know?" featuring Aniya Ouu bumps hard at a slower, sultrier pace. You'll also find two remixes from a couple of Juno's favourite producers - The Revenge and Pional - with the former taking "A Walk In The Park" into deeper, Theo Parrish-esque shuffle territory, while the latter tweaks the same track into a sweetly melodic roller. Quality from start to finish here!

Review:
Dean Sunshine Smith's Sunshine Reworks series certainly delivers on its promise, offering illicit, floor-friendly re-interpretations of soul cuts that don't so much glisten as blind with their inherent summeryness. Combining elements of classic soulful house, Revenge-ish slo-mo groovery and Terje/Idjuts style dubbed-out disco production, Sunshine Reworks offer some orange-tinted relief from depressing winter weather. Both "Oh Honey" and "Love Odyssey" tick all the right boxes, striking an impressive balance between letting the vocals breathe and impressing the dancefloor. The results are sunnier than a Balearic summer and twice as sultry.

Review:
Ilya Santana uses complex structures and enchanted melodies in his music in an attempt to uncover hidden emotions. Having previously remixed The Human League, The Phenomenal Handclap Band and Lindstrom, Santana's first release for Eskimo is "Burning Jupiter," a spaced out, disco tinged piece of electronic. The singles precedes his debut artist album, out later this year.

Review:
After a brace of EPs on Eskimo earlier this year, Ilya Santana serves up some new material on his own fledgling Santa Esperanza imprint. It's only the label's third release - and the first from Santana himself - so it should be of little surprise to learn that he's saved some particularly sultry disco nuggets for the occasion. "Dance Beyond" opens proceedings with glistening arpeggios and spaced out synths, before "Hymn Stelar" and "Fantasy" round off yet another shimmering musical excursion from the Cayman Islands disco ambassador.
