Stereo pro-turntablist DJ mixer with 2 dual stereo channels
Review:
From inputs to outputs, Allen & Heath created the Xone:02 to be the world's greatest battle/scratch mixer. Every fader is a deluxe VCA design. They are all reversible, all have contour controls and they can all be easily replaced by removing the steel faceplate. The fader area has been cleared for action and other controls are out of the way at the top of the mixer and even the transform switches can be rotated to work the way you like them.
Add to this Allen & Heath's outstanding sound quality, a choice of plain or patterned faceplate, optional Pro Xfade crossfader and sturdy construction to withstand any amount of rough handling a scratch DJ can throw at it and Allen & Heath think they might have succeeded. Professional 2 channel DJ mixer
Review:
Allen & Heath is proud to present the Allen & Heath Xone:22, a 2-channel analogue DJ mixer which offers the top quality audio and professional feature set usually only found in the booth of a top-rated club, all at an stunningly affordable price.
Allen & Heath have raised the bar on entry-level mixer design with the Xone:22. It's equipped with their characteristic sound and build quality and it's the first time a DJ mixer at this level has incorporated professional grade features, such as a full cut isolator/EQ, accurate metering, high quality faders and pro-standard audio headroom. Allen & Heath have incorporated a lite version of Xone's now legendary VCF filter system, a truly professional feature never offered at this level before. Rack-mounted professional DJ live/club mixer
Review:
Here's where it all started. As the first model in the range, the Xone:464 paved the way with superior sound and build quality never seen before in a DJ mixer. A dedicated club mixer, designed to please both club technicians and the performing DJ, its combination of versatility and fine craftsmanship mean it is still the first choice for venues where DJs and engineers are serious about their music.
The Allen & Heath Xone 2-464 Club & DJ mixer shares the same solid construction as Allen & Heath's pro touring desks, so venues can depend on it for outstanding audio and reliability, whilst the renowned Xone analogue filters and 4-band asymmetric EQ make it an incredibly creative tool for DJs to enjoy. The 4 fully-featured mic/line inputs mean live performers can join the mix, adding a new dimension to the stunning feature set. Professional 6-channel club/DJ mixer

Review:
The Allen & Heath XONE:92 presents a unique combination of performance tools for the professional DJ in a stylish and solidly built club format. Above all, it features sound quality second to none. The XONE:92 has been designed and constructed using the same rigorous standards Allen & Heath apply to their large format professional consoles used and respected by top engineers throughout the world.
The Xone:92 provides 6 dual stereo channels, 2 offering mic inputs, adding up to a massive 10 stereo and 2 microphone inputs. A full range of connectors means that you can connect up to 4 turntables, 2 mics, CD players, MD players, drum machines, samplers and pretty much anything else you might want to bring into the mix. MIDI (musical instrument digital interface) allows featured front panel controls to transmit MIDI data to enable remote control of external effects, samplers, sequencers etc. Tap Tempo related MIDI clocks are also transmitted to provide synchronisation of MIDI sound modules to pre-recorded sources playing through the mixer. 4 Band EQ controls rather than the usual 3 for greater creativity. Each band has a safe +6dB boost. The HI and LO bands have infinite attenuation (total kill) with a sharp 12dB/oct roll-off and the MID bands have a massive -30dB of cut, enough to shape your sound well beyond normal EQ range, and without overloading your system. Stereo channels use high quality twin rail linear or rotary VCA faders. These control the audio using DC voltages meaning that they can take a huge amount of punishment without the bangs and crackles that inevitably creep in on regular audio faders. The high spec Penny & Giles VCA crossfader is easily removable from the top panel for quick replacement should it become worn. The curve can be swept between dipped response, ideal for seamless beat mixing, and fast-attack, suitable for scratch or cut mixing. Unique to XONE, 2 stereo state variable voltage controlled filters provide the DJ with a new level of live performance creativity. These are very similar to those found on classic analogue synths but benefit from modern, quiet and stable technology. Use these to sweep the sound by accentuating or cutting frequencies from 30Hz to 20kHz. The 3 filter types HPF, BPF and LPF can be combined to create many more amazing effects. Low frequency oscillator controls enable cyclic LFO changes to be applied to each filter. A large resonance control changes the 'Q' or sharpness of the filter effect from subtle to extreme. Each VCF has its own ON switch. Combined with the extensive output and monitoring features, colour coded indicators, stylish layout and clear graphics visible in all lighting situations, you have an unbeatable performance console equally at home in dance clubs, home set-ups, live venues and on the road.

The Xone:DB4 is a ground-breaking mixer and the most advanced product that Allen & Heath have ever designed. Every feature has been meticulously researched with a view to offering DJs ultimate creativity. Based on the iLive pro-touring FX system, A&H developed FX algorithms with BPM conscious parameters and tight spectral control, customised to perfectly fit the DJ environment. As the loops and FX are automatically synchronised to the tempo of the track, it is very easy to build some amazing grooves and soundscapes without problems of latency, low fidelity and the general hassle often associated with using software and laptops.
The icing on the cake is the flexible input matrix, where any audio source can be selected on any or all of the channels. Different processing can be applied to the same track on separate channels and you can fade between them, or a phrase sampled in the looper of one channel can be added to the mix later in the track. Our digital design team has done an incredible job to ensure that this is one of the most innovative and exciting DJ mix tools to date." Quad FX Core: The heart of the Xone:DB4 is the powerful Quad FX Core DSP engine, enabling each channel to have its own FX bank and BPM detection system, which automatically adjusts all time-related FX and loops to the tempo of the music. There are 5 studio quality FX types optimised for DJ use - delays, reverbs, modulators, resonators and damage - plus each FX type has a patch library of different effect variations. Each FX bank has a dedicated expression control and a rotary pot to set the wet/dry level, whilst further tweaking can be performed using the global controllers in the FX master section. 4 channels, USB, S/PDIF co-axial I/O, Mic/Line input, XLR outputs, Looper, EQ/Filter, QuadFX DSP effects, built in 24bit/96kHz 4in/4out audio interface

The Xone:S2 is an installation DJ mixer for use in clubs and bars by professional mobile DJs. It is a 19" rack-mounted 4U mixer, available with either linear or rotary VCA channel faders, and features 4 stereo dual-input channels, 2 mono mic/stereo line channels, a USB audio interface and boasts many features to both enhance the DJ's performance and aid the installer.
The Xone:S2 represents the ideal package for club installers as it has a multitude of features designed to integrate it into a typical PA system. One of the key features is an output limiter system that enables the engineer to preset the maximum output level of the mixer, irrespective of input level. The main mix outputs are on balanced XLR and an additional mono output, also on XLR, can be used as a zone feed or can be used to feed a sub-bass stack. A dedicated alarm input mutes all music channels when active and there is also a dedicated alarm message audio input connection. An additional stereo input (RCA) is accessible on the front panel, enabling guest DJ's to patch in music sources without having to gain access to the rear connectors. 2 high quality mono/mic or stereo channels are included, and there is a booth monitor and music ducking facility. The Xone:S2 is offered with either linear or rotary faders, which are fitted on a removable panel making it is possible for venues to purchase the alternative panel and easily interchange between fader types without having to remove the unit from the rack, as required by the visiting DJ. The Xone:S2 is equipped with many performance tools for DJs. Each of the four main stereo channels is equipped with a flexible 3-band equalizer providing a safe +6dB of boost and total kill for complete frequency isolation. Individual channels can be routed to either side of the high-quality VCA crossfader with adjustable curve control for smooth constant level mixes or virtually instant attack suitable for scratching. The Xone:S2 is also equipped with the legendary Xone filter system, allowing each of the four main channels to be individually routed to the filter. The filter can also be connected to outboard equipment, or can be patched into the mixer insert point for global filtering of the main mix. Three separate headphone sockets are provided, and a split cue allows the cue signal to be monitored in the left headphone and the main mix in the right. Uniquely on a mixer of this type, the Xone:S2 is equipped with a USB audio interface enabling easy integration of digital media. The USB interface can be used for playback and recording to or from the Xone:S2 and a computer, or used with appropriate software to act as a hardware effects unit. 10" 2-channel MIDILOG mixer with MIDI/analog control and 4 x inputs/outputs (3-pin UK power adaptor included)

Review:
The iRig MIX is the first mobile mixer for iPhone, iPod touch, or iPad. The iRig MIX offers the same controls you would expect from a professional DJ mixer (crossfader, cues, EQ and volume controls, etc.) in an ultra-compact mobile mixer that can be used with a huge variety of iOS DJ mixing and other apps. It is a complete DJ system for rehearsing, performing and recording. The lightweight and slim design of the iRig MIX allows it to be easily carried in a regular iPad bag. For the first time on any DJ mixer, the iRig MIX can be used for mixing any type of audio source (coming from mp3 players, CD players, etc.) with an iOS device using automatic tempo matching and beat syncing. This is accomplished with X-Sync, a feature that works in combination with the DJ Rig free app from IK Multimedia that is included with the iRig MIX.
The iRig MIX allows DJs to use a traditional setup with 2 devices (one plugged into each of the independent channels) OR a single iOS device. For the single iOS device setup, the output of the single device is split into dual-mono and sent to the individual channels. This flexibility, combined with the iRig MIX's portability gives aspiring and pro DJs a compact system that can be used everywhere and anytime. Now, you can practice when you want, perform when requested, because your Rig is always with you. You can set up in minutes for house, backyard, dance and after parties. Play in your bedroom, dorm room, or at sporting events before the big game. Planes, trains and automobiles once meant that your DJ gear was inaccessible. Now, no matter where you are or where you are going, you can mix and rehearse sets. The iRig MIX also provides the perfect mixing solution for solo musicians or small ensembles that use one or more iOS devices to play live. It features an extra guitar/microphone input that facilitates processing with popular apps like the AmpliTube and the VocaLive or any other apps that offer real-time audio effects and processing. Its standard RCA output connectors provide direct connection to PA systems or powered speakers. With its slim, lightweight form factor the iRig MIX is considerably smaller than traditional DJ mixers and can be carried anywhere you take your iPad, iPhone or iPod touch, is easy to stow and perfect for performers on the go. The iRig MIX also has minimal power requirements allowing it to be powered not only by the included power supply but also by a suitable USB battery pack or a laptop USB port for maximum mobility to mix anywhere. And because the mixer and an iPad only take up about as much space as a laptop, you can leave it set up all the time so you're ready to go when creative inspiration strikes. The iRig MIX includes 4 free apps (downloads from the iTunes app store): DJ Rig, the new professional DJ mixing app from IK, AmpliTube, the most popular iOS guitar amp and effects app, VocaLive the processing app for vocalists, and GrooveMaker, the loop based beat and groove making app. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Svlj3pGikS4 19" rack mountable 4-channel audio mixer with USB input

Review:
The Numark C2 is a powerful rack DJ mixer. There's no finer mixer value in terms of performance, features, or quality.
5-band EQ lets you tailor system response to the room with precision. The sophisticated microphone section includes great tools such as auto-ducking, which automatically drops the level of whatever's going on when announcements need to be made and auto-muting with sensitivity adjustment so feedback will be nothing but a distant memory. In a world of mixers with overly-complex designs and unnecessarily complicated operations, the C2 delivers a new way of mixing with great value and ease of use. B-STOCK: Box opened. There is a slight dent in the rear panel and a few minor scuffs elsewhere but otherwise product is in excellent condition and in perfect working order

Review:
With an innovative touch screen and arsenal of remixing FX, the DJM2000 forms the ultimate club mixer. 6 individual effects processors lay the foundation for hundreds of music manipulation combinations, so a DJ can always create their own unique sound. Taking advanced features, thought only possible in software, and reinventing them in the physical world, the DJM2000 maintains the DJM series' intuitive layout and natural feel, also removing the need for external effects with the technology of the EFX1000 effectively built in.
Pioneer have integrated a large 5.8" LCD multi-touch panel perfectly positioned in the centre of the mixer, that allows the DJ to use touch controlled effects while monitoring them visually. 3 kinds of performance modes have been added: the frequency mix for a more precise music mix, the sidechain remix with dynamic effects and the 4 types of MIDI mode that allow the DJ to use a computer, making every DJ scenario possible, including time-code style virtual deck control. A unique EQ crossfader takes frequency mixing to a whole new level, while the evolved beat effects option means you can control the level of effects on each frequency band, so that echo can be added just to the vocals, or the hi-hat rhythm can be doubled up. Physical buttons have also been added for selecting effects and beats, making it possible to jump between different timing measures instantly. This immense unit also boasts six kinds of effects: noise, hpf, jet, zip & crush, along with a high and low pass filter knob for each channel. For multi-deck users, up to four CDJ2000s/CDJ900s can be connected via lan cable into the mixer, and 2 laptops running Rekordbox via USB. DJs can then share music libraries across all connected decks. The CDJ2000 and CDJ900's hid control of DJ software, such as Serato or Traktor, allows virtual decks to be manipulated without time-code vinyl and now the DJM2000 further simplifies connectivity directly to your Mac or PC by having a soundcard built in. Sound can also be recorded to this mixer and played on a CDJ2000 or 900. Words recorded from the mic can be immediately used for scratching or for other new performances on the linked CDJs. It is also possible to output the master output to the computer. This makes it extremely convenient to record the DJ set. The DJM 2000 also has a refined sound output, with improved dynamic range and ultra-low thd. All of these features, matched with digital connectivity, visual fader curve adjust and every other feature deemed as a DJ essential, this is the most thoroughbred, technically able and evolved mixer to date. 4-channel professional mixer

Pioneer has raised the bar again with the release of the DJM-2000nexus: the powerful 4-channel professional mixer that combines advanced performance features and intuitive layout to empower unbridled creativity in the booth.
Building on the DNA of its predecessor, the industry standard DJM-2000, the DJM-2000nexus uses the ProDJ Link LAN connection to ensure a smooth link with up to four CDJ players or turntables and two laptops. The new Sync Master lets DJs set the master BPM for four CDJ players and control it from the mixer, while Beat Slice allows tracks to be sliced and arranged in real-time. These new features combine with favourites such as Quantized Beat Effects, Live Sampler and studio-quality Instant FX to deliver truly powerful remixing possibilities. The new flagship mixer retains its predecessor's popular 5.8-inch LCD multi-touch screen, to offer a multitude of ways to manipulate the music. In addition to being the nerve centre for features such as Sync Master and Live Sampler, DJs can use the touch panel to control three innovative performance modes - Frequency Mix, an enhanced Side Chaining Remix mode, and MIDI mode - for even greater originality. The professional grade DJM-2000nexus is designed with the club environment in mind. A newly designed Peak Limiter eliminates distortion and clipping, even at high volumes, while high performance channel faders provide smooth motion and a long life. Improving on the high quality audio of the DJM-2000, the DJM-2000nexus boasts a lower jitter DAC clock on the Master Out, and the best quality A/D converter seen in the DJM series so far. Plus, chrome plating and white LED illumination mirrors the design of the CDJ-2000nexus, for a professional set-up that looks as good as it sounds.

Review:
With 4 channels, 100 effect combinations and endless creative possibilities, the new DJM-850 is set to become home and mobile DJs, most sought-after mixer.
The DJM-850 is primed and ready for plug and play, with preconfigured, studio-quality effects accessible at the touch of a button. The mixer rivals software's creative possibilities liberating DJs from their laptops and allowing for a more natural DJing experience. The DJM-850 is the perfect choice at this price point because it retains its predecessor's most popular features, inherits the high-end build of Pioneer's club-standard DJM-900nexus, and adds a few innovative effects of its own. The DJM-850's Beat Colour Effect, an industry first, uses sidechaining to add another layer of control to Pioneer's brilliantly simple Colour Effects. The Beat Effect listens; to the audio input of each channel and connects the changes in volume to other parameters, so DJs can flawlessly blend new sounds and effects into their mixes. And the DJM-850's integrated 4-stereo-channel sound card makes set up incredibly simple, with connection to PCs and laptops requiring just one cable. The mixer offers DJs 13 enhanced Beat Effects. Along with old favourites, the DJM-850 inherits the incredibly high-quality Reverb and tripped out sound of the tape echo-inspired Spiral Effect from the DJM-900nexus. And, exclusive to the DJM-850, Pioneer introduce Up Echo, which produces a more reserved and controllable mix. Replicating the sound effects achieved by the touch-sensitive X-Pad, the FX boost function allows the level/depth knob to work more proactively than a standard wet/dry control. Turn the dial to the 12 o'clock mark for a fully wet effect and turn it further to add Pitch Up to Up Echo and a High-Pass Filter to the Reverb. The DJM-850 boasts an integrated high-performance sound card, enabling simultaneous input and output with 24bit/96 kHz processing, so there is no deterioration of sound quality as it passes through the mixer. With 3 sampling rates (96 kHz/48 kHz/44.1 kHz), the DJM-850 can be used for music recording and production as well as expert DJing. Connection to PCs or laptops requires just 1x USB cable, so DJs can start mixing their stored music immediately. And software devotees can make the most of scratch control thanks to the mixer's compatibility with the timecode feature on Digital Vinyl Systems, such as Traktor. Pioneer's handy utility tool launches as soon as the DJM-850 is connected to a computer, allowing DJs to configure the mixer, sound card and audio routing according to their personal preferences. The DJM-850 harnesses the power of the highly popular studio technique of sidechaining to add a new element to Pioneer's wonderfully simple Colour Effects without making them any more complicated to use. By engaging the Beat button, another dimension of control is automatically added when you apply the Colour Effects. The Beat Colour Effect listens to the audio input of each channel and directly connects the rhythmical changes in volume to another parameter: resonance for Filter and Crush, beat repeat for Cutter and ducking volume for the Noise Effect. This extra layer of control has become a staple of dance music production because of the way it blends new sounds and effects perfectly into the mix. Each channel is home to a three-band equalizer (+6 dB to -26 dB) or three-band isolator (+6 dB to -26 dB). Emulating the isolator on Pioneer's installation-grade DJM-1000, the DJM-850's equalizer straddles the range from -26 kill to complete kill. The DJM-850's interface mirrors the user-friendly layout of Pioneer';s club-standard mixers for ultimate familiarity, wherever DJs perform. The internal parts of the DJM-850's high-performance faders are nestled well out of harm's way, so drink spillages aren't the disaster they are with other mixers. Pioneer's P-Lock Fader Caps prevent the faders from slipping off accidentally during rough use. Fully MIDI assignable, the DJM-850 also serves as a MIDI controller.
The Reloop IQ2 MIDI is the latest mixer from the trend-setting IQ series.
Compared to its predecessors, the IQ2 MIDI is completely digital with the best, noise-free sound characteristics and a 4x4 multichannel USB audio interface with 24bit/96 kHz studio quality. As all elements are MIDI compatible this mixer can also be used as MIDI controller and thanks to the MIDI flex function, the crossfader, as well as the effect unit, can be used in MIDI or audio mode. The IQ2 MIDI also offers a digital matrix-input function. This way all audio inputs, as well as all MIDI channels, can be flexibly routed to the channels. The ASIO/CORE audio drivers guarantee the absolutely lowest latency for a professional standard while mixing. Further novelties are the reversible crossfader and the 2 battle mode that allows looping in a second mixer or DVS system via the loop input. Topping it all off is the fact that the mixer is Traktor Ready and it can be selected very easily within the software as preset. No matter if digital DJ, turntablist or electro clubber this mixing talent does not leave anything to wish for. www.youtube.com/watch?v=pPEMHmKBt0k 2+1 channel classic mixing console
