Voltage controlled vactrol state variable filter combined with a 10-step sequencer

Review: The FT201 Analog Filter/10-Step Sequencer is Koma's innovative voltage controlled vactrol state variable filter combined with a 10 step sequencer.

The FT201 is capable of providing ultra low and high frequency filter effects which are controllable with the on board infrared expression controller, which allows the user to create filter sweeps by moving their feet or hands over the pedal. The FT201 has 3 different filter outputs: band pass, low pass and high pass, which all work simultaneously. The cutoff frequency range is very large, between 20Hz and 20 kHz and because of the vactrols used the sound quality is superb. The 10 Step Sequencer runs through the selected amount of steps (2 - 10 steps) and adds the control voltage to the value set by the cutoff knob, thus modulating the cutoff frequency in every step.

A handheld dual infrared X-Y motion controller

Review: Want to create the perfect filter sweep, manually trigger a gate or step through a sequencer? No more need to turn knobs or to patch up a lot of modules, the Kommander makes it simple: just plug it into a CV input on your (modular) synthesizer, move your hand over the device and you are able to control it with your hands, feet or nose, yes: just like a theremin: Kommand and Konquer!

The Kommander is a handheld dual infrared X-Y motion controller that makes controlling your electronic instruments intuitive and fun. The device measures the distance to your hand or any other surface and sends out corresponding CV signals between 0 and 8V. The closer you have your hand to the Kommander, the higher the output voltage. This will allow you to create complex synth sounds, trigger a drum machine, control your Koma effect pedals or any other instrument that is capable of receiving CV signals.

Koma know that some equipment can only accept CV signals up to 3V or 5V, that's why they fitted the Kommander with attenuators, which are accessible in the back of the unit. The attenuators connected to the CV outputs allow you to attenuate the maximum voltage output, so you can e.g. set the range from 0V to 5V instead of 0V to 8V.

Review: The CP251 Control Processor can be used in connection with one or more Moogerfooger analog effects modules, the Minimoog Voyager, or other voltage-controlled gear, adding the same kind of power and versatility of the classic Moog modular synthesizers.

There are two kinds of signals in a modular analog synthesizer: audio and control. As audio signals go through a system of synthesizer modules, they get shaped into the sounds that you hear. Limited edition, updated reissue of the classic Bob Moog design

Review: Originally designed by Bob Moog and released in 2000, the Classic MF-104 Analog Delay was manufactured as a limited edition release of 1000 units. A special Bucket Brigade delay chip was employed allowing the effect to remain completely analog. Unfortunately, the supply of these chips was limited and the final MF-104 sold in 2001. Since then there have been two reissues of the Classic MF-104, the MF-104Z and the MF-104SD. In that time, each has been added to a short list of the most sought after analog delays in history.
