Review:
Gearing up for the celebratory 10 Years Of Dispatch LP, Ant TC-1 whets our appetite with this four-track EP. First up, Mindscape & Hydro get stuck in with tech-ed up "Pest Kontrol" with its pounding Hardware-esque drums, pumping rhythms and sense of menace. Next, Zero T & Script step up with "Judas", which develops from a contemplative intro into the filthy, deceptive monster from which it takes its name. "Peel Street" is a collaborative effort between Octane & DLR and Safire - a more stripped back number, with an elastic b-line; whilst concluding cut "Artificial" sees Spinline step up with quirky percussion and deadly subs.

Review:
An excellent compilation from D&B imprint Celsius, which brings together a wide range of talent from the likes of Command Strange, Derrick & Tonika, Kyro, Incident, Brother, Ali and more. All channelling a blissed out, deeper sound, this collection of tracks is aimed at the more discerning listener. Highlights include Ali's upbeat, vocal-led guitar strumming liquid gem "Everything (feat dramatic & dbAudio)", Derrick & Tonika's moody "Forward Thinking" and Centrik & Grimm's contemplative cut "Don't Wanna Do This". An excellent addition to your music collection.

Review:
Barely seven months have passed since Celsius's first label compilation, but that hasn't stopped them from curating yet another sublime selection of their best talent. Soulful rollers are the order of the day, armed with the perfect amount of bottom end welly but deep enough for some rather enchanting headphone listening, too. Highlights include the reverberating double bass strums on Dream Workers' "Duplicate", the Good Looking flavours on Severity Zero's "Snow" and the more contemporary bass rumbles of Phat Playaz "On Your Mind". But to be honest, they're all exceedingly checkable. If you're not feeling Celsius heat yet, here's an ideal place to start.

Review:
Russian jungle. We know what you're thinking - the largest, coldest country in the world offers some truly sterling dark drum & bass efforts to the table, in fact some of the scene's most heavy duty producers are from the darker reaches of Eastern Europe, but jungle has never found it easy to flourish. Of course behind every scene is a mouthpiece and Mashed Youths Records represent the hugely under-represented masses in this very region who live, sleep and breathe breakbeats. Featuring newcomers to the scene like Igit, Ekzo, Se and Smokah, this LP shows that jungle is alive and well way beyond the Balkans. Salute.
