Review: Having cut his teeth on Ram's sister label Frequency, the hardcore-turned-D&B DJ graduated with full honours on Andy C's Ram imprint last year with his superb "Soundboy", which was recently given the VIP treatment as part of the landmark "Ram 100" album. Here, Hamilton presents his next single. "Brainstorm" is all Loadstar style scraping bass and tough drum breaks, with scattering SFX, making it a neat fit with the Ram catalogue. Accompanying it is "Echoes", which is all sparkling, twinkling melodies, moody atmospheres and blissed out sounds for the duration.

Review: Following a slew of tear out anthems such as "Soundboy", "Brainstorm" and "Echoes", hard house turned D&B producer Hamilton brings us some excellent new tunes on Andy C's influential Ram Records. "Deep In My Heart" is a power anthem in the making, with an empowered repeating vocal hook echoing within the tune, and accentuating the pumping drums, trance-influenced synth work and sweeping atmospherics. "Rich Kids" is an equally exciting venture with punishing subs, grueling synth sweeps and pounding drums setting the pace and tone for the piece. Scintillating stuff here from the Ram camp.
