Review:
Taking off straight away with distorted bass and electro stylings straight from your favourite retro-futuristic deep-space nightmare, this slice of hyperactive neurofunk badassery comes to us from Hamburg courtesy of BadBoy Zoniy and Subtractor's collaboration project Brazed. Bringing the techno-tinged pressure from the centre of neuro's comfort zone, this brave release packs some serious punches. Lead track "Analyzing" sprawls over heavy rolling rhythms, chopping and mashing throughout, keeping it fresh. "Disruption" is more unsettling, with jazzy, intricate percussion that quickly caves in to some serious bass pressure. Not for the faint of heart, Brazed are that exact combination of fun and deadly that can get people into trouble.

Review:
Known by many in the drum & bass scene as one of the most important seminal albums in the history of modern D&B, This Too Shall Pass was released in 2006 on Bassbin to widespread critical acclaim, followed by a slow-burning reverence from fans new and old over the years. The tracklist is dotted with tunes many bassheads would class as up there with the greatest: from the dubby lilt of "Lead Me On" and the intricate driving Amens and synthy static of "Morning Star" to the washed out swing jazz of "Unireverse" and the beautifully mournful reverb of "Black Sunshine", this is a re-release that's been a long time coming. RIP Bassbin, and thank you Rohan for making masterpieces such as this available to the buying public once more.

Review:
Dutty Audio's Brazilian drum & bass badman BTK takes no prisoners when he goes in. "Megahertz" is a full-on dancefloor destroyer, best heard on an 100ft system as the end of the world approaches. For those on a non-apocalyptic tip, fragmented breaks and a deep bass groove give the title track seriously addictive headphone appeal too. After an insane build-up, the rapidfire roll of "Be Yourself" smashes straight into neuro funk filth with the type of bassline that gets crowds of thousands screwfacing in harmony. It's a beautiful thing

Review:
An important snippet of advice to any would-be raver, "Party Smarty" also happens to be the squelchiest, dirtiest slice of jungle-influenced jump-up this side of the Atlantic. Pushing into obscene levels of skank-appeal, it somehow remains chilled despite having the biggest hook on the block. "Drum Machine" bounces along on a destructive mission to get the world dancing with a seriously addictive bassline and again, a false sense of security that you're being coerced, not forced onto the dancefloor. Big, punchy and lots of fun, expect this to air a lot down your local bass emporium.

Review:
Bringing the experimental vibes has always been a strength of Ant TC1's Dispatch Recordings and this latest release doesn't bow to commercial pressure. "Degeneration" is a dark cacophony of deep atmospherics and shattered breaks, with lunging bass pushing forward and striking with Cern's trademark deadly accuracy. DBR UK and MTWN's inclusion "Shrapnel" is a fierce stepper with dubby bass vibes set firmly in after dark mentality. One for minimal tension, one to make you move, both from a label that's set itself in firm 'buy on sight' territory for years. An insta-bag.

Review:
Clipz - now known to the masses as Redlight - is a master of doing whatever he wants. Not one to sit back and let a tune play out, he'll tweak it until it sounds his own. Back as his own original self with a 10 years on re-release of "Showtime", it's time to see if the years have mellowed his sound to ears now trained to hear sawmill bass in adverts for Fruit Shoots. From the huge wobbling bassline of cool club rager "Cuban Links" to the 8-bit Saharan loop that weaves in and out of discordant banging beats in "Showtime" we can say...er, no. An EP that's stood the test of time but has remained raw and more importantly, sounds surprisingly current. Say what you want about the guy, he makes cracking Clipz tracks.
