Review: Blade brings us a rather delectable EP on the Fokuz imprint, full of blissed out atmospherics and lush rolling breaks. Teaming up with Arp 1 for the title track "Lithuanian Beauty", you can expect shuffling, percussive drum work and shimmering SFX to dominate. For the rest of the EP, Blade goes solo, starting with the cooing notes of "Parts Of Me" with its gentle instrumentals and vocal snippets, and progressing through to the end with concluding cut "Tingles" - a delightful, chirpy little number which just oozes soulful vibes. A beauty of an EP here from Blade.

Review: Scene stalwarts Blu Mar Ten can always be relied up on to deliver quality underground D&B so it comes as no surprise that these remixes in part one of the "Love Is The Devil" remix package are top notch too. Bringing in the talents of Exit boss D Bridge and Soul:r's head honcho Marcus Intalex, this one's a winner. First up, D Bridge lends his hand to the sublime "Sweet Little Supernova" and ramps it up with deep, undulating bass, chiming atmospheric sweeps and plenty of dark, brooding flavours. Accompanying this is Marcus Intalex's re-lick of "All Thoughts Are Prayers" which charms the soul with its intricate melodies, shuffling breaks and murmuring bassline. This comes highly recommended.

Review: The next release from everyone's favourite D&B producer, Bristol based Break, comes via his own label Symmetry Recordings. As always, dark, dutty flavours preside with Break's trademark drums and incendiary dancefloor edge. "Condenser", up first, builds from an ominous intro full of eerie, juddering instrumentals into a moody main part with punchy, pounding drum beats, rolling bass and grimy SFX adding even more murkiness to the proceedings. The accompanying "Network" is another slab of darkness with pattering breaks, thudding bass, quirky warping noises and a more low-slung appeal. All in all, it's another killer from Break which is well worth checking out.

Review: A very promising young artist who made his name on Med School's "New Blood 011" compilation last year, Clarity brings us another high profile release, this time on D Bridge's Exit imprint. Believe the hype here as this is one wunderkind who is well worth checking out; after a long, tense, cinematic intro of various white noise and gritty Burial-like SFX, "Fractured" builds into the main part via a series of heavy thumps with an acerbic bite. Dark and deep, this is Exit at its best. Accompanying cut "Off The Cuff" is another stunner with hollow, clip-clop beats, a stern, groaning bassline and plenty of menace in the subs. Excellent stuff - check this out.
