Review:
Key member of the No Hats No Hoods fam, Merky unleashes his third album. And from the sleazy, slinky bass-caked intro you instantly know it's his best yet. Home to a wide range of angular licks, across the album we hear him preaching over ugly, dungeon slimestep "Wack" we get teased with trapish charms "Eff Tizzy" and get ruffhoused into 808 submission on the finale "Know What It Is". Showcasing his versatile (not to mention angry) style in the broadest possible fashion, Merky's living up to his name in every way here.

Review:
Having helped firm up the foundations for dubstep as we know it today, there's been a lot of speculation surrounding Caspa's new album since he first announced it last year. No pressure, then! Luckily it's good news all round: across the 15 tracks he's developed his trademark dubstep swagger AND taken trips down various other creative paths to keep both himself and the listener interested. Examples of the latter include the utterly mental "Techno Terry", the industrial strength future hip-hop ("Ghost Town" and "On It") and the piano-soaked rave-up "Reach For The Sky". Showcasing unparalleled potential in a post-dubstep landscape, Caspa's nailed this 'tricky' second album with deft precision.

Review:
The Greek economy may have had a kicking but its dubstep scene is still thriving in a major way. Represented by both Camelorg and UZZI, they've developed quite the reputation on the international circuit over the years and here they collide for a feisty sub-slaying five-pack. The results are deeper than you'd expect with cuts like the title track and "Doghouse" both rolling with a slimy, stank dungeon vibe. Looking for some funk in your halfstep and wobbles? Head for "Doomsday". Looking for some audio napalm? Head for "Sonic Boom".
