Review:
How many styles and genres can you throw into one tune? Well LA producer Ruckus Roboticus is having fun discovering just that. With drum machines and samplers at the ready this EP has a wicked DIY quality that leans back to the days of mashing things together on outboard equipment. Across the EP, disco rings pretty loud, and the title track 'The Phantoms Theme' showcases exactly that with a hectic arrangement of fills and drops and plenty of cheer and smile raising twists that will keep a fun vibe and the floor moving. Louis Roche strips it back and goes in a bit harder for his remix that has a cooler edge, and opens up to wider range of sets. Also worth checking out is the Unix UK remix of 'The Phantom of The Disco'. Lots of fun had making this no doubt, and just as much dancing to it.. Check it out!

Review:
The infamous Black Hole out of Holland seem somewhat in a transition period, with the last few releases moving into a sound that (while still routed in trance) has a heavy electro (or EDM) flavour. Vocals are also playing a key factor, with what seems a notable thought to potential radio airplay. The quality remains, as this from New Zealand's Ryan Enzed goes to show. Featuring a hooky vocal from ACQ, its all about the thumping beats and that heavily electro enduced bass-line, while slight tech trance flickers keep it fresh. All works in harmony to bring the peaktime stadium power which the likes of Tiesto, and Showtek are pushing right now. You'll no doubt have the vocal in your head for days. We can see this one growing and growing. Jump on it early!

Review:
An interesting departure for J Majik & Wickaman's Infrared label; usually famed for its killer slew of D&B releases (besides the occasional buzz cut from Rewind) here we find them going all EDM on us with two very exciting US bass exports. "All Systems Go" is the quintessential set opener with its emotional strings and heavy cinematic scope. "Hero Down" is equally hair-raising while opting for a more strident 4/4 stomp. "Stardust" brings the curtain down with much more of a 'lighters up' feeling thanks to Taylr Renee's sexy breathy vocal work. Usually the sole preserve of clouds, don't miss out on this opportunity and grab your "Silver Lining" today!

Scot Project might not know the order of the alphabet (having previously released "W", "C" and "P") but he certainly knows his way round the studio. His own remix of "B (Baby)" is a huge piece of big room science that reminds us that less is almost always more. Booming beats with a nagging vocal loop, it teases on the edge of insanity before a euphoric drop sooths our souls and shivering spines. The original is a lot more blatant and driving; with a series of pumping beats that build and build, it's an instant peaktimer with more stomps than tingles.
