Review: We know very little about Guiseppe Storniolo - great name, incidentally - but here he's delivered a fine EP worthy of further investigation. There's a pleasingly soulful undercurrent to all three tracks, with more than a nod and a wink to classic deep house throughout. "Turn It Deep" rolls along joyously on a wave of fluid synths, chest-puffing spoken word vocals and fuzzy party atmospherics, while "This Way" comes on like a classic, disco-tinged French deep house track, all jazzy keys and simmering strings. "Javelin", meanwhile, has a touch of the Cassius about it, all cut-up vocals and stabs, bumpin' beats and serotonin-releasing melodies.
