Review: Established bass bin botherer 6Blocc teams up with low end newbie Bungalow Dub for a fantastic four pack on Moonshine. Kicking things off with the murky sounds of "Havana" this one builds from a stripped back, eerie intro into the main tune with its dragging beats, humming bassline and razor sharp SFX. Next is an even more extraordinary piece; "No Soul" featuring lyrics from Fox (who we have recently seen collaborate with Dub Phizix in his recent release on Critical) which blends thick, heavy atmospherics with a swaggering beat and warping mid range. The soulful edit, which completes the EP, draws out the lush, blissed out vocal of the original and brings it into the fore.
