Review:
Wicked EP here on the Iboga Denmark label from Israeli DJ/Producer duo Eitan Reiter and A Balter. In a land where Psy trance reigns supreme it is great to here some super fresh sounds that build on fine tune elements from an array of difference genres. Kicking things off with 'Second Chance' that rolls with a simplistic yet infectious groove and nagging shuffling fill that twists in and out of the mix. On the flip 'Sunny Afternoon' injects a heavy dose of acid that is guaranteed to do some serious damage when its dropped in the early hours... and is therefore definitely the stand out of the two.

Review:
Here's an unlikely combination: synth-heavy nu-disco re-rubs of a bizarrely titled dubstep wobbler from producer A Contrari. How very post-modern! It's little-known producer Serj V who delivers the unlikely combination, a sludgy fusion of Euro-disco arpeggios, bold synths, floppy-haired posturing and odd, cut-up auto-tune vocals. Exactly what it has to do with fish we'll never know, but it has a cutesy kind of appeal. Olej's Deep Lake remix, meanwhile, casts a line into deeper waters, offering up a fluid, downbeat house version that ebbs and flows delicately. It's arguably the more impressive of the two versions, if only for its unflinching dedication to ticklish melodies.
