The Faux Metier label has a curious approach. They've taken anonymity to its logical conclusion, offering releases without any artist info whatsoever. They are, as they point out on their Soundcloud profile, an "artist-less label". This ninth release offers more woozy, feelgood fare, from the intoxicating, cowbell-laden warmth of opener "Creme de Menthe", to the crackly, hissing, string-laden expanse of downtempo goodness that is "Rings of Saturn". In between, you can enjoy the robust, floor-friendly stomp of classic US garage bumper "1% Visible", and the fiendishly heavy pulse of the nine-minute deep and jackin' "Posthumous".
