Review:
"Do You Really Love What You Do?"... What a question to be asking your fans on your second release! Fortunately, Daniel's classically informed jack is so well executed he could ask you any question and you're likely to swoon and giggle like a school girl. The title track is a pumping ode to Moroder with tech like sophistication, "It's Entertainment" is a much deeper, jacking body-slammer a la Luke Solomon. "E-Link" and "Verso" are much more progressive in their nature, hinting at Daniel's previous success "O Day", both gradually build up to overwhelmingly euphoric pay offs without ever going too crazy.

Review:
With DJ Spen on the production and veteran US garage vocalist Dawn Tallman providing vocals, "Believe In Love" has excellent credentials. In its original form, it's a soaring, gospel-influenced chunk of soulful house with just the right amount of bubbly, 21st century electronics in the riffs (and, of course, organs a-plenty). Spen himself provides the remixes, providing various decent alternatives including two decidedly electronic (and rather fine) Lektrosoul rubs, a proper, organ-laden bumper (The Spen & Tommy Show Me Dub), and a sublime, drawn-out extended version (co-produced by Gary Hudgins). As ever with Spen, the quality threshold remains high throughout.

Review:
Despite making a name for himself in his hometown of Portland, Oregon, Elliot Thomas has yet to make his mark in electronic music at large. Judging by this first solo single for Voyeurthythm, he could be a name to watch in coming years. Brimming with snappy analogue drums, vintage synths and tear-jerking melodies, "Sirius" is a delightful slab of stargazing deepness with some impressive influences (early Chicago deep house, the Burrell brothers, classic Detroit techno). It sounds like something that could have been made in '88 or '89, right down to the analogue warmth present throughout. "Desert Light" follows a similar template, delivering bubbling electronic arpeggios, yearning synth melodies and subdued analogue drums. Recommended.
