Vocal and acoustic instrument recording microphone
Review:
One of the basic rules of recording is that the quality of the recorded signal is determined by the weakest link in the signal chain. Today, any microphone needs to match the high quality of 24bit recording media. Therefore, one of the most important requirements for the AKG C2000B is high sensitivity. This allows you to lay clean, noise-free tracks with no risk of noise levels from many individual tracks combining in the mix. Its high SPL capability makes the C2000B a highly versatile microphone that can be used even for extremely loud instruments.
The C2000B will give perfect results for demo recordings, in the rehearsal room, as well as in the best recording studios. Ultra-light condenser pickup microphone for acoustic guitar & stringed instruments

Kick drum microphone perfect for use in high SPL applications
Review:
The AKG D112 is a versatile kick drum microphone ideal for use both on stage and in the studio. Well-known for its solid build quality and high SPL tolerance (of up to 160dB), it's perfect for mounting on kick drums, as far in as you like, without worrying about distortion or clipping.
The D112 has a specially engineered diaphragm with a low resonance frequency, which enables the microphone to keep a solid response below 100Hz, while allowing higher frequencies to cut through the mix. As well as kick drums, it can also be used on bass amp cabinets and brass instruments. Dynamic instrument microphone for drums, percussion, wind instruments and guitar amps
Review:
The D40 with its solid all-metal body will stand up to the hardships of night-after-night onstage use. Universal shock mount
Review:
The H85 suspension mount fits C2000B/C3000B/C414.
For the new C 414 B-XLS and C 414 B-XL II microphones, AKG designed a new shock mount that differs from the familiar H 100 as follows: The outside ring has been reduced in diameter from 120mm to 100mm The color has been changed from black to dark gray The clamping range has been increased from 22-26mm to 19-26mm to accommodate microphones with cylindrical or conical bodies or connectors including, e.g., the AKG Blue Line and ULS Series. The H 85 shock mount keeps a lower profile than the H 100 and therefore looks better on the microphone. The H 85 also matches several other AKG studio microphones, e.g., the C 2000 B, C 3000 B, and C 4000 B. At present, the only microphones including an H 85 shock mount as a standard accessory are the C 414 B-XLS and C 414 B-XL II.
