Review: Founded in 2008, the US based Abducted imprint prides itself on releasing the darkest, duttiest D&B. Now QO steps up with two stormers that sum up the label's sound in a nutshell. The evocatively entitled "Crack Party" kicks things off with a bleepy melody, thudding drum kicks and whomping b-line. A computerized voice discussing the use of recreational drugs leads us into a dramatic drop, whereupon the ear-battering aural abuse begins. "Mechwarrior", the secret weapon, is menacing and marauding from the off, building a doom-laden, post-industrial soundscape with thunderous bass and glitchy, layered SFX.

Review: For those who haven't heard the original, and for those who have, this is a remix package so big it almost needs its own postcode! No less than seven tracks are squeezed in here, ranging from the synth-driven re-work by Run Robot Run! to the ragga flavoured dubstep of Dziga, there's something for everyone as each producer teases out a different side of Syndaesia's original. Glyph employs grinding drops and thumping kick drums; MorzFeen favours a more dubbed out sound; Sirch's is all reverberations and grating low-end and Killabit ups the fun factor as we reach the finale.
