Review:
Ever fancied swimming with dolphins? Well now's your chance - "Dolphins" is so deep you could dive in with the power of ten men and not even come close to the bottom of this oceanic slab of tidal two-step. Shimmering and sparkling with untold musical secrets, it's one of Cluekid's deepest cuts to date. "Fossil" is slightly darker; rolling with liquid tech groove and warm, resonant flux-bass, there's nothing archaic about it at all. "Nihonto" concludes with a jam that fits between the two; another example of musical beauty (and captivating eastern twangs) but driven by a lucid dancefloor-alluring riddim.

Review:
The much-revered Aussie dubstep imprint Aquatic Lab break their half-year silence with this epic selection of deep rolling cuts from the artist previously known as Ashburner. Those festering a big love for mic-men should step up to the title track instantly as Jamakabi guides us through the sickness with a rapid flow that is guaranteed to drive every ounce of energy from your floor. Another major highlight is the beautifully understated "Bassmental"; deep but dangerous, there's so much going on you'll hear something new on every listen. Be sure to check the "Civil War" VIP, too... And ring the trippy bass klaxon when you do. Wow.

Review:
It's hard to believe it's been four years since the first immaculate selection of Aquatic Lab Sessions. Sitting prettily on top of the many bass music releases out right now, from start to finish this is a labour of love that covers a vast range of diverse sounds. From the halftime D&B stylings of Bardeya's deep dreamy "Gordon" to Core's hauntingly dark "Eagle Scream" and Perverse's crisp, minimal "Hamba", it's a true depiction of Aquatic Lab's hard work and dedication to the genre in all its forms. Shredexx - "Transporta" is a particular gem, shining bright from murky depths with brooding attitude usually reserved for the good old days of dark dubstep. A perfect example of the versatility of bass end productions in 2013. Don't sleep.
