Review:
There aren't many who do uplifting trance as well as Russia's Alexander Popov. His orchestral musical talents, and blockbuster soundscapes are quite simply, epic. For his next Armind release however, he steps into a deeper, calming mode, albeit still laced with his trademark melodies. First heard as part of Armins 'Universal Chapter 5' it is now yours for the taking. With its proggy depth, melodic twists and orchestral touch, 'Elegia' is a versatile and dynamic tune to add a breath of fresh air to any set.

Russia's prolific Alexander Popov has undoubtedly paved the way for a wrath of talented youngsters such as Arty over the past few years. He is best known for his beautifully dramatic and orchestral style which is showcased once again on this showstopper for Armind. The ultimate stamp of approval on just how awe inspiring it is, comes from it being the opening tune to disc 2 of Armins 'ASOT 2013' compilation. A much deserved feat no doubt achieved from his shattering melodies that made tracks like 'Elegia' and 'Awakening' such favorites, this is sure to hit all the right buttons and once again make both your hairs and arms rise to the sky.

Following on from his collaboration with Lee Osbourne earlier this year, Ali Wilson makes his debut on Armin Van Buuren's 'Armind' imprint. This whole track is worked around an incredible tribal vocal that is chanted throughout. Pan pipes keep the tribalistic feel a constant, whilst huge synths propel the track into a euphoric meltdown. If you want to bring the dance floor to their knees, you need this track, it's as simple as that.

The Moldavian master Andrew Rayel returns to Armind with two new tracks, of the highest production quality we have come to expect. He has switched things up for this double header and nicely surprises with much darker tracks. The sounds used and minor progressions are both sinister and eerie, with 'Zeus' still packing plenty of punch for the dancefloor but sounding like something to drop at 4am rather than peak time. On the flip he lightens the mood somewhat yet using more unique minor melodies and distant sounds, for the equally intriguing and powerful 'Musa'. Two mystical tracks which will instantly inject freshness into your sets.

Review:
Our favorite Armada label changes on a regular basis, but due to an amazing run with the likes of Orjan Nilsen and this killer new cut from Andrew Rayel, Armins' very own Armind steps into pole position (for the time being). The fast rising Moldavian producer teams up with songstress Jano for this quality trancer that first got showcased on 'Universal Religion 6'. Electro influences come through the throbbing bottom end, while Andrews melodic layers wrap around Jano's vocals to really bring it forward. True beauty is unleashed in the break with a spine tingling hands in the air moment guaranteed. Not much between the Club and the Original mixes.. all we know is you need it in your sets.

Armin Van Buuren may have recently lost his #1 DJ in the World crown to David Guetta, but he still remains the biggest name in trance. Every Summer season, fans wait with baited breath for the annual Universal Religion compilation. This year Armin mixed both discs live at his Space Ibiza residency, and once again its packed with the biggest cutting edge music. This sampler is prime example. 'Gundam' from James Dymond, the Daniel Kandi remix of 'Home' by Susana, and the monster Stoneface & Terminal remix of 'Fight The Fire' from Andy Moor are all on offer... Dive in!!

The trance world has been fortunate of late to be treated to a slew of releases from Armin, and this week we have yet another stunning production premiered on ASOT just a few weeks ago. Featuring the glorious topline of Ana Criado 'Suddenly Summer', as the title suggest will teleport you to the golden sands of Ibiza, as it gently warms the soul with delicate vocals, and mind-clearing melodies. The essence of this (as with many Armin tracks) is the core piano arrangement, which could stand up as a classical piece of work in its own right. Watch the eyes close and hands raise in the air as soon as you drop this one. Armin is well and truly back to his best, long may it continue!

Review:
Armin wastes no time getting stuck into the new year, with a brand new single which is to be the soundtrack to the forthcoming 'In Love with Ibiza' movie. What better producer to capture the beauty and emotion of the Island that makes everyone's summer. His electric lead line and nostalgic chord progressions work with a stunning vocal from Floria Cutler, which is sure to become a cult classic as well as an instant floor favourite. The dreamy Original is fairly chilled (which is where the beauty comes from), so Beat Service step up and delivery a pacier alternative that once again hits the spot.

Review:
It has been two years in the making, but the wait is very almost over as on the dawn of releasing his fifth studio album 'Intense', Armin presents the first single to be lifted from it. With an instant "Essential New Tune" on Pete Tongs radio show (no mean feat for a trance artist), if this is anything to go by, his sound is taking a housier direction. With a strong a radio friendly vocal at the forefront, coming from the brilliant Trevor Guthrie who's tone and delivery take this skyward. Where the Original has crossover in mind, the monstrous remix from golden boys W&W certainly doesn't.. its an outright bass heavy assault on the senses, made to destroy all in its path. There's also; Antillas & Dankann, Giuseppe Ottaviani, and some guy called David Guetta providing remixes... You don't need to be told, this is essential!

There isn't much much more exciting for trance heads then seeing a new Gaia production announced from the unstoppable Armin Van Buuren, and we have been chomping at the bit in anticipation for this latest for some time. This is punchy, and full throttle with a sexy French vocal and slightly darker chord progressions, with an overall ethereal sound that encapsulates the golden era of big room trance. From '4 Elements' back in 2011, through to the more recent 'Tuvan' and 'Aisha', Gaia has been the jewel in the kings crown and the seductive is already one of our favourites 'J'ai Envie De Toi'.. An un-missable future anthem!!

Review:
This tasty collaboration has been on the cards for some time, following the massive success of 'Must Be Love' (where the pair were joined by BT, and Nadia Ali). With one of the scenes hottest and most promising names joins forces with the undisputed king of trance, the result was always going to be massive, and this is everything we could have hoped for. There is a real elegance and sophistication about 'Nehalennia' with the pair holding back on the obvious and keeping the focus on both beauty, and warmth. The production is punchy and everything from the bubbling melodies to the whispering vocal effects are finely tuned and instantly memorable. All elements build to that magical moment at the breakdown.. The first of many these two, we hope.
