Review: Archie Cane makes his return to Audio Phreaks for their 32nd chapter of dubstep cosmology, and the man comes through in fine style. "Addicted" takes seductive pop vocals and injects a duly needed dosage of bass thrash in the mix, whilst "Gold Belt" is a slithering stop-start two-stepper with a double bassline to boot, showing no mercy from beginning to end! "Supernova" goes on an old-school electro flex and shows off its musical muscle by parading its bumpy, hip-swaying beats all around the block.

Review: The cover image of a satanic jelly baby, blood trickling from his razor-sharp teeth, offers a clue to the bizarre but enjoyable contents of Durty Phresh's title track. While it pulses with the sort of formidable, wobble-heavy bottom end demanded by dubstep DJs, it also raises a giggle via the use of silly fairground organs and other smile-inducing elements. "Swagger On A Million" is more traditional in its outlook, layering pitched-down hip-hop vocal samples over woozy synth riffs and a bassline that's only a few hertz away from "brown note" territory. Both tracks sway with the chest-puffed swagger demanded by men in caps and girls wearing cargo pants.

Review: The artist formerly known as Diesel develops his Future Echo persona with this feisty trio of sweaty, swaggering halfsteppers. "Commit" takes EDM lighter thrusting riffery to the dirtiest corner of dubstep valley and gives it good old bass rinsing. "Don't Stop" deftly balances rasping midrange bass squirts with heavenly synth blasts. Finally "When You Get That Feeling" flips back and forth from cut up synth drama to gnarly Slash-level guitar strutting. Massive.
