Review: Fourward brings his electro-tinged take on D&B to the Audioporn imprint for one exciting rollercoaster ride in the All That Matters EP. Getting things off to a rip-roaring start is the title track, which is a cartoonish cut with punchy electro-house beats, buckets of energy and punctuated by zeitgeist vocals. "Gone (feat. Katie's Ambition)" takes things on a slightly less exuberant tip with polished vocal, uplifting melodies and ticking breaks. "Steady State" takes us in yet another direction with more tech-ed up beats juxtaposed against tinkling piano melodies, and then there's concluding piece "Rave" which does exactly what it says on the tin in a flurry of tear out dancefloor fury.

Review: Undiluted rainbow rave, "Boss Wave" is a stunning sonic showcase from Xilent that's so cheek-slappingly fine it doesn't need any other release mates to back it up. A homage to the end-of-level baddies on old tape-loading computing games - if you can remember them - it's got all the 8-bit drama but with all the 21st century production decadence. With a nagging, infectious hook and every sonic trill and thrill you can imagine (even an amazing video), this is Xilent's best record to date.
