Speed garage label Bass Machine drop another excellent dose of blitzed beats in the shape of these new remixes of Agzamoff's "Badbwoy". J Jean & ATTOS connect the original with some hyped bassline styles, while Generator drops a more jack-house reworking whilst keeping the echoey vocals nicely in tact. Serg O's "Mega Blast" mix slots in nicely, thanks to some driving hats and claps, while DLRM goes all out for a punishing and severely hardcore dubstep treatment that's as brilliant as it is brutal.

Could Missy Elliot be THE most bootlegable female rapper of all time? Quite possibly! And good for her; she's graced many a sick bassline... But few as sick as the rampant fidget-style slab of warbling dancefloor drama that is "Finish Dis Line". Armed with a bass lick that can't help but make you grin foolishly, this guarantees dancefloor business. Meanwhile on track two, Tin Dog ups the ante several notches with the high-speed romp that is "Outcast". Imagine if Herve released a juke track on Cheap Thrills and you're kind of in the right area. Strictly peaktime shizzle.

Review:
Polish producer CJ Reign has been producing tracks on his own Urban Impulze Records for some time now, but this release on Bass Machine is one of his deadliest productions to date. Kicking in with a flurry of tightly programmed 2-step drums and inbuilt rewinds, it launches into some huge bassline action with a production prowess that recalls Mosca's recent joints for Numbers. This comes with the "CJ Urban Groove dub" which offers a sharper production with lush house strings and cut-up vocals, and a dub from Reign Energize, who offers a sparse, clipped arrangement which shatters the original into tense micro-fragments held together with lush sweeps.

Another hard-hitting release from the Bass Machine label, this time coming from Perth's DYP, whose "Ricochet" combines junglist rhythms with some satisfying bass squelch to create an undeniably raucous fusion of sounds. Remixes come from Arrows Of Time, who deliver a dark breakbeat version complete with melodic breakdowns that hark back to '89, and J.Jean, who straightens the track out with a swung house beat and reworks the bassline into something altogether more delicate, creating something that is more UK funky than jungle.

Review:
Chunky, fevered bassline-meets-speed garage from the Bass Machine label, with Generator and Dub White both making a serious impression. Generator gets hugely funky on the rap 'n' bass banger "Can't Help Myself", winding a chopped brass sample over a fat '90s bassline, while "It's Time To Get Funky" gets busy with some retro-house organs and floor-quaking low end. Dub White comes at things from a slightly more hardcore, devilish approach - throwing out of control arpeggios into the hectic beats of "Lover That You Are", while "Museum" is a true garage monster.

Review:
More speed-garage madness from Russian label Bass Machine, as this time J Jean steps up to the plate with the low-end shuffle of "Free Your Mind". EQlips Dubz adds a doomier take on the tune in his remix, while Bass Machine staple Mark Krupp picks things up impressively with a jacking beauty which notches up the tempo markedly and ramps up the energy levels with some added hats and vocal filters.

Review:
The Bass Machine label has been pushing all things bass, since its inception in 2009. This latest release has a Wild West theme, with lead track "Killer From The West" featuring pumping house beats, a Dreadzone-style dub bassline and samples from cowboy movies. "Desert Wind" continues the theme, but with deeper bass and a recurring banjo motif. "Good & Bad (Piano Saloon dub)" celebrates the unlikely union of cowboys, wobble bass and trancey synths. Lastly, "Harmonica" takes the famous mouth organ riff from Once Upon A Time In The West and weaves it around some serious garage action, yeee-hah!
