Review: The mysterious JusLo first made an appearance last year on Mighty Mouse's Disco Circus 2 mix. That track, the eyes-closed 80s disco sweetness of "Fly Away", heads up this five-track debut EP from the Mighty one's Mi Mo imprint. With its sumptuous disco production, George Benson-on-MDMA guitars and touchy-feely melodies, it's the best thing here by some distance. That's not to say that the other four tracks are substandard; without fail, they're hooky, entertaining and playable. "Mirikal" offers slick, filter-heavy nu-disco, "Naked System" melancholic space disco, and "NuSoundz" (available in midtempo and super-fast versions) a cute fusion of cut-up filter funk and original disco bounce.
