Review:
While the record label branch has only been going since 2010, the Bedmo Disco duo of Sell By Dave and Five Stylez have been filling the clubs of Bedminster and beyond its West Country surrounds with their own distinct brand of boogie heavy disco since 2007. This sixth release is aimed at celebrating five years of Bedmo Disco, with the label heads joined by studio sparrers AWON for four tracks of searing boogie brilliance and the first original material to surface from Bedmo since the label launched. Deftly combining the funk heavy sounds of 1980s NYC boogie with more contemporary production touches that are comparable with anything Dimitri From Paris or Tiger & Woods have been releasing of late.

Review:
Bristol's Bedmo Disco Records launches with a very special EP from rising star and friend of the family Cosmic Boogie. The Liverpudlian DJ/producer - famous for his releases on Disco Deviance and on his own Cosmic Boogie imprint - has contributed a white-hot EP of scintillating disco, electrofunk, boogie and P-Funk. From the sensual grooves of 'Catch 22' to the cheeky 'Let's Jam' and uplifting 'Calling Lenny', there's something to suit every discerning disco dancefloor.

Review:
Straight outta Bristol, disco beards Bedmo Records drop the gloriously titled "Saviours Of Paradise", presented here as a FLX One edit. A joyous orgy of funk guitar, shiny brass and uplifting female vocals, the title track would get even a corpse doing the conga. The Bedmo edit of "Everybedmo", is a sweatier affair that we could've sworn to have heard in an episode of Starsky & Hutch once. Things end on high with Bedmo's edit of "Base Camp", a rolling disco blinder with symphonic stabs and an energetic guitar riff.

Review:
Bristolian disco Grinches Bedmo Disco call on the talents of Rocco Raimundo; if his marvellous moniker doesn't tip you off as to where this EP is heading, the Italian flag and crumb catcher that adorn the artwork surely will. "Steamy Summer Sonnet" is all heavily filtered synth hits riding above a glorious arpeggiated bassline; killer vocal too! You'll find more frenetic disco-funk on "Turn Me On", while the soaring strings and almost French touch loopy filter fest that is "Ridin High" stands out as our pick of a very impressive bunch.
