Review: Bedrock have fired off from all cylinders to launch into 2012, and here drop a killer new EP from the ever consistent Marco Bailey. It's another dose of outside the box progressive and tech house across four tracks, following on from his acclaimed Dragon Man album. The lead track 'Lotus' is the most floor focused of the lot, driven by a techno groove and flickering melodies sparsely splashed. 'K4West' is all about the old school vibes of the main riff, while our pick of the pack is the pacier 'Oriental Disco', which will rock it in a spectrum of sets from progressive warm-up to peak-time techno.. Review: DSCi4 present the sixth release in their Spy Technologies sampler series, featuring the talents of Mindscape and Mr Foul. Mindscape's "Flashback" on the A-Side delivers some meaty old-skool action, with some satisfying low end going hand in hand with light melodic touches and cowbell percussion, while Mr Foul's "Land Of Look Behind" is a more sinister number, filled with terrifying ambience and a deep bass growl. Highly recommended.

The real stand outs here are; 'Under Pressure' and 'Gekko' by Guy J, John Digweed & Nick Muir collaboration 'Aquatonic', and the acid rave anthem 'Sabotage' from Pete Heller. There are some more recent sound also, notabaly from Jim Rivers on 'Empathy'. Tracks like this are also great to throw in a mix and add a special dynamic to set, as let's face it.. they all sound ultra fresh even to this day

Review: With Bedorck having pioneered electronic music since '98, it is quite a milestone to reach the 100th release, and what high expectations set for Guy J & Henry Saiz to deliver. Unsurprisingly, they rise to the occasion with two tracks that showcase all the Bedrock history whilst firming looking ahead to the sounds of tomorrow. 'Meridian' sees the two come together for a groovy and melodic progger that has peaktime smacked all over it, on the flip Saiz goes it alone for the massive piano led 'La Marea', one of the largest progressive tracks of the year... Both of these need to be at the front of your wallet immdediately!!

Review: A rare treat for Nick Warren fans here, as the veteran progressive house producer returns with his first single for three years. As you'd expect, "In Search Of Silver" is heavy on atmosphere, building a deep and smoky groove over ten heady minutes. All Warren's trademark touches are present (long intro, ambient breakdown, dubby basslines, soundwash production) making it a treat for those who dig the classic Bedrock sound. Martin Buttrich handles remix duties, offering up an 11-minute, sub-heavy rework and a tough, drum-laden dub that should satisfy DJs of a more minimal persuasion. Warren also offers up a sofa-friendly ambient version.
