Review: Long-time producer Vince Watson releases a sorted selection of his music remixed by Joris Voorn, DJ Rolando, Funk D'Void and Psycatron via his own Bio imprint, with impressive results. The opening bars of Joris Voorn's remix to "Intuition" sound dangerously close to a sped up version of the Rolling Stones "Sympathy For The Devil", only to be blanketed by light piano chords, sharp claps, ringing chimes and a synthesised bassline. Irish duo Psycatron roll out a more techno inclined take on Watson's 2011 "Pressure", which burrows deeper underground by the beat, only to surface to a shower of plucked strings and spiralling synths. DJ Rolando's mix of "Sequential" is by far rawest mix of the release, while Funk D'Void teeters on the edge of trance with his remix to "A Very Different World", but grounds everything with a solid, twisting bassline.
