Review: The second release on fledgling UK bass label Blank Mind goes back into the past, excavating two brilliant crate-digging joys by Chicago footwerk pioneer DJ Clent, whose Dance Mania releases have been out of reach for fans of juke for too long. "3rd World" rocks a fierce set of 808 claps, subs and toms, while "Hit It From The Back" is a storming classic of looped vocals and stacked snares. Praise to Blank Mind for bringing these back at just the right time.
