Review: Holy underwear, this is a huge release. Having impressed globally with his UK bass sounds for Soul Jazz, Passenger and Trouble & Bass, Baobinga gets collaborative for this new full-length set of partnerships with the likes of Xxxy, ID, Gemmy, Guido, Mensah and many more. Immediate highlights include Baobinga's own remix of Roska's remix of "Tongue Rhythm" - hard to follow we grant you, but trust us, it bangs heavily - as well as "Wang It" (made with ID) and "Bumba", the Guido hook-up which sees the Bristol pair take things to the next level with heart-stoppingly precise production and a sleazy groove. A real standout from 'Binga and co, and a highly recommended listen.

Review: A killer combination here; eclectic, but ever on point bass music evangelist Baobinga teams up with Hyetal (who we last saw fraternizing with Peverelist on Punch Drunk) for a fantastic release on the former's Build label. A strong, synth-led start, full of salubrious funky sounds and vibrant textures leads the way into the main part of "Anything For New". Up next, "Trouble" sees the pair experiment with clipped vocal snippets, crisp, crunchy percussion and taught b-line business. Support from across the spectrum - from Mistajam and Modeselektor to Pinch and Mosca - affirm the credentials of this one without a shadow of doubt.

Review: Exclusive to Juno, this is some heavy and very fresh Raggastep, with enough bass to choke a horse. Baobinga's worked across a range of styles and genres, from electro to drum and bass, but this tune strays into funky territory, and could be worked into a range of sets. The Untold mix brings a lot more glitch, and keeps building to something that works the heads as well as the floor.

Review: And now time for a little shooter chatter. They're not the most talkative of fellows, but pistols always have the last word - this being no exception. Pensive, dramatic, locked and loaded with suspense, Rider Shafique has stern words with his heater while Baobinga and I.D ensure a riffle-like rhythm beneath. Coupled with bashy attack from Kahn on the remix -complete with chilling Detroitian synths - it's a double hit. Dark vibes continue elsewhere on the release with "Lickle Further", a cheery dancefloor tune about murderation. Militant riddims and serious Kingston flavours, put your pistols down and listen up!

Review: Build boss Baobinga teams up with Ginz (from the "Purple City") and Cosmin TRG on this debut from his new label. Title tune "The Good Stank" is just as brilliant as you'd expect from this team of post-dubsteppers, with big live drums played at a half-speed and a cavalcade of bubbly synths spewing nicely over the mix, all anchored by a soulful synth melody. "I Get Ruff" on the other hand is uptempo and just as kaleidoscopic - with Baltimore-style drums and deep bass firming up the rhythm. Clearly this won't be the last diamond to come out on Build.

Review: Lifted from Baobinga's imminent collaborative album, the pairing of the Build bossman with neon-synth champ Guido makes perfect sense. Sure enough the end results are doused in the hyper-produced sheen you would hope for from these two. "Ballin" struts on a crisp, stepping rhythm offset by all manner of melodic variations that intertwine with ease. "Bumba" takes a rougher tact, and comes off much stronger with a hooky UKG refrain that propels the track.
