Review: This debut EP from Tokyo-based man-of-mystery Tim Sullivan caused quite a stir on its initial vinyl release, and is now available as a seven-track digital EP. It's a great package, with Sullivan's DFA-ish originals - a distinct mix of leftfield NY disco, nudisco and stargazing 90s ambience - complimented by some great remixes. Kink and Neville Watson revisit the Nu Groove era on their classic deep house meets nudisco take (check the excellent analogue bassline), Jacques Renault lays down some moody deep house darkness and Sidwho come on like Midnight Magic jamming with Environ era Daniel Wang. There's also an excellent rub from DJ Maar that should appeal to the more adventurous future garage heads.

Review: One half of defunct Aussie duo Riot In Belgium - now producing under the Nile Delta pseudonym - pops up with a rather tasty release on Cut Copy's Cutters imprint. The sun-drenched house-isms of "Channel" roll elegantly into "All This", which sees some remix action on the flip. The Chicken Lips malfunction is an acid tinged chugger, while Australian producer Tornado Wallace chimes in with a boompty mid tempo house workout.

Review: Cut Copy keep their lovely little Cutters imprint rolling along with this gem of a release from The Miracles Club. Being one of the world's most loved synth pop acts clearly helps rope in decent remixers (Gavin Russom and Carl Craig were called upon to tweak their latest single), and here they show off the depth of their rollerdex once again, enlisting NYC duo Neurotic Drum Band and Ulysses to remix "Light Of Love". Cut Copy also provide a piano-heavy remix of their own, while a second Miracles Club track, namely "So Hot, appears in 'old school' and 'club mix' form. Lots of fun to be had here!
