DJ MIDI controller designed for the Serato Intro
Review: The brand new MC2000 brings, for the first time, the very best in Denon DJ professional quality and technologies, then integrates them it into a product that's accessible to everyone. From the plug and play link up with Serato DJ Intro to the intuitive layout and controls on the deck, now is your time to join the new generation of DJ Superstars.

DJ equipment can make or break a performance. There are many choices to make when you first lay down a mix on your first deck, first mixer or first controller and it's easy to get lost amongst sub-standard gear or controllers designed to be used at home in the bedroom. With the MC2000, DJing has hit the masses with one single controller that is as much at home being used day-to-day to practice as it is being taken to a gig and used effortlessly in front of screaming crowds. With an inbuilt professional-grade USB audio interface there's no need to use your computers processing power just to output sound or buy extra gear to get club-quality audio from your speakers. The inbuilt interface gives the option of running true high quality audio out of the MC2000 to a serious speaker set-up wherever you are; in a club, at a gig, or just at home setting up for a night of mashing-up tracks.

Fresh DJing relies on relentless practice and knowing your music so why should you wait to get home to start dropping beats? The MC2000 doesn't need to be plugged into a mains power supply for you to get thrashing out tunes, it's USB bus powered which means if you're hanging with friends and want to show off your latest mix then you simply need to power up your laptop and plug in the MC2000 with a USB cable (supplied). It's as easy as that because the MC2000 has been designed with Serato DJ Intro software in mind, complete with a layout which reflects exactly what you are doing on the laptop screen. Serato DJ Intro detects the controller automatically and is ready to work from the moment you take out of the box and plug in, giving you true plug & play functionality.

The Serato DJ Intro is the newest piece of software to join Serato's illustrious DJ range, which includes popular professional DJ solutions, Scratch Live and ITCH. With over 10 years' experience in software development, Serato bring their unique approach to this new plug-and-play system. The Serato DJ Intro allows for traditional 2 x deck mixing of digital music files from a computer. Large music collections can be managed with the Serato Crate system, plus advanced iTunes integration allows for instant access to existing library and playlist information.

With its portable design and solid build; the MC2000 is the ultimate weapon in your DJ bag, completely redefining the quality and usability of its class. With every single detail aimed at improving value and retaining simplicity without compromising features and sound quality.

The layout takes the very best from the already successful MC6000 and MC3000 platforms and puts it into an even more compact unit that's tweaked especially to work seamlessly with Serato DJ Intro and similar DJ software.

The jog wheels and faders are designed to retain the professional grade and high-quality feel that Denon DJ customers have come to expect. Built to take even the most enthusiastic mixing and hard-core techniques, the MC2000 stands tall amongst the competition as the only true professional grade product that inspires even the freshest of newcomers to pick up and join the DJing community.

The Denon DJ MC3000 is taking the next step into DJ controllers with build quality that has come to be expected from a Denon DJ product and has earned its place alongside truly professional DJ controllers such as the DN-MC6000. Whilst managing to remove the lengthy process involved with learning features and button combinations, the MC3000 brings simplicity and functionality together to create the very best DJ showcase from Bedroom to Dance floor.

This versatile mixing solution is designed for all types of DJs, as it features software compatibility as well as full functionality for non-software DJs. The unit also acts as an interface, making it an ideal mixer for mobile DJs, party DJs, non-performing bedroom DJ hobbyists and more.

The DN-X600 features a 24bit/96kHz USB 2.0 audio interface (sound card) with 4 I/O (stereo) channels. Internal 32-bit floating DSP processing and 32bit DAC output ensure the best possible sound. Aside from the processing and output, the sound is further bolstered by the unit's phono amp with a high signal-to-noise ratio, equivalent to that of critically acclaimed Denon HiFi products; an ultra-clean mic amp, which can realize a studio console classic low noise level (EIN -126dBu); and high-output headphone amplifier.

The DN-X600 also features an intuitive on-board DSP effects section with on/off button, Dry-Wet mix and independent send assignment (Ch/Mic/Master); effects include delay, echo, flanger, filter, reverb, loop, beat scratch and BeatBreaker. The DN-X600 provides the DJ with ultimate control of their mix with 45mm high performance Flex fader (cross fader) with tension adjustment, 45mm custom Alps-type Channel Faders, Innofader-Pro compatibility (for cross fader) and channel fader contour adjustment. CD/MP3/MIDI digital media DJ controller
Review: Introducing the Denon DJ SC2900 Mutlimedia player and MIDI controller. The new SC2900 is essentially a Denon DJ SC3900 with a jog wheel style platter in place of the actively spinning platter.

The SC2900 will combine the functions of the SC2000 and the SC3900 giving DJ's a club-standard type of jog-wheel feel while giving the DJ the ability to playback audio from CDs and USB drives. The jog wheel has a multi-color LED ring around it to give the DJ key indicators during playback. Just as with the SC3900, the SC2900 has 4 on-board hot cue buttons, loop buttons, separate start/stop speed adjustment knobs, and easy to use browsing controls. There will also be the inclusion of the famous Slip-Mode which allows DJs to manipulate the song using the jog wheel while the track continues to play normally underneath until the slip mode is turned off. There will also be tension adjustment controls so that the DJ can get the tension/resistance of the jog wheel just right (loose or tight).

The Denon DJ SC2900 can also be linked together with the new Denon ENGINE software in order to share libraries between devices, ipods, computers, and hard drives. On top of all this, the Denon SC2900 is a full-out MIDI controller that can work with almost any DJ software of the user's choice. Every control is fully MIDI mappable but Denon will include the popular software setting mapping files on their website when they are released to the public.

B-STOCK: Box opened but product is new, unused and in perfect working order
Review: *** B-STOCK: Box opened but product is new, unused and in perfect working order ***

Utilizing a completely redesigned high-torque direct drive motor that exactly mirrors the feel of vinyl, the SC3900 brings home that familiar feel but with the choice of CD, USB, software, or even a networked media server as your source of tracks.

The 9" platter makes scratch moves more nimble by being that little bit smaller, but maintains the perfect amount of space to grip it, scratching & mixing tracks feels no different than using vinyl.

Years of development with top international DJs has allowed Denon DJ to perfect the platter of the SC3900 for use with digital media without losing that feel of vinyl (the surface of the platter is actually a 9" vinyl disc), all allowing Scratch DJ champions like DJ Switch to push their performances even further than possible with a vinyl record.

Doing DMC-style hard-core scratch sets are made so much easier without worrying about needles & skipping records.

Playback and scratch tracks from a myriad of sources including USB sticks or USB hard disk drives via the top mounted USB port. This allows the move from venue to venue with just a single USB device and not a laptop or CD collection, although the SC3900 can also playback CDs via the front loading CD slot, giving you true flexibility of your media choices.

The SC3900 also comes complete with the brand new Engine music management software that has been designed with players such as the SC3900 in mind, allowing the ultimate in DJ set preparation, playback and control.

Prepare the perfect set in the studio or on a computer at home, then export it to a USB stick or Hard Disk Drive and have everything needed for your DJ performance in a device small enough to fit in your pocket. Then, when it's time to perform simply plug in and play, and even share the USB drive's files with up to three other compatible players over a network.

Once your networked players are sharing the music from one USB device, it's easy to manage, cue, and play to any player via an iPad with the new Engine iPad app (requires downloading from the App Store). Engine for iPad seamlessly controls your set wirelessly through a network, all via its large full-colour touchscreen. And there is no need to worry about computer or connection problems; should the iPad become disconnected, your music is still securely connected to the player via USB, leaving playback, and your audience's attention, uninterrupted.

Additionally, playback of files on your PC or MAC is possible with the included 'Engine' music management software which doesn't even require a high specification computer to work quickly and efficiently. With file searching speeds that leaves most other software standing still, Engine's power is achieved by leaving the intensive audio processing at the player so the software is free to run before, or during your performance, utilizing the full capabilities of your computer.

Prepare music on a USB device, playback music through Engine PC or Mac software, and control via networked players or even through a network connected iPad.

Hybrid MIDI mode has been a flexible feature and a great benefit to previous Denon DJ devices and it's no different with the SC3900. Complete with the ability to be MIDI mapped to work with a wide variety of applications, the SC3900 can control DJ software utilizing DVS, without using time code CDs, making the SC3900 the most complete and flexible player Denon DJ has ever produced.

For performers who can't or don't want to choose between software, vinyl, CD, and digital media as well as those who want the ability to use one controller that doesn't rely on a high-spec computer to perform, the Denon DJ SC3900 is the player that you have been waiting for.

Review: Utilizing a completely redesigned high-torque direct drive motor that exactly mirrors the feel of vinyl, the SC3900 brings home that familiar feel but with the choice of CD, USB, software, or even a networked media server as your source of tracks.
