Review:
We first heard the conflicting sounds of these two acts combine last year when MSTKRFT remixed Legend's "Green Light". The rave heavy remix was an instant success, prompting the two to collaborate once more. This time round, Legend features on MSTRKRFT's latest single "Heartbreaker", taken from their Fist of God album.
The result bears even more delight this time too, offering an instant dancefloor hit. Perhaps a result of the fact that Legend's instrument of choice, piano, is given a prominent role within the track, there is a much more natural and adhesive connection between the two musical styles. This collaboration manages to find an astute balance between the Canadian duo's electronic production techniques and John Legend's account of losing his love interest to a rival. The remixes offer more of a club oriented take on things as a trio of in demand remixers are brought on board to complete the package. Laidback Luke adaptation is a builder that intensifies until it drops the massive piano hook hands to the air moment. Joachim Gerraud's faster, more driving remix ploughs forward with a sense of direction and purposefulness. This one is easy to get lost in, whether it's the pulsating music or enchanting vocal that consumes you. Wolfgang Gartner finishes with a slower take on the track, encompassing bigger breakdowns whilst maintaining the feel of the original to round the release off in style. Amongst a host of collaborations that include Ghostface Killah, E-40 and Lil' Mo on their 'Fist of Gold' album, 'Heartbreaker' with John Legend remains the pick of the bunch. Combing the two disciplines of dance and pop, this track with be as loved by fans of either.

Wall shaking, floor trembling, hard house and electro from Felix Cartal here. His debut full length, released on Dim Mak, fuses punch beats, metallic sounds and catchy vocals to bring you the most addictive harder tinged house imaginable. Huge drops throughout, this is one noisy record ? not for the faint hearted.

Review:
Out on Steve Aoki's Dim Mak label comes this heavy trio of quality electro tunes from highly rated Belgian duo Sounds Of Stereo. For anyone who appreciates quality siren-style builds and some chunky drops, this is a must. "Flatland" features Afrojack style pitch-shifting leads, while "Metric" buzzes along nicely until a huge breakdown. "Hyper" rounds off the set with some devilish swirling synths and stabs of bludgeoning bass. This is strong but scintillating stuff, and comes highly recommended.

Making a name for themselves with mixes of Diplo & Laidback Luke, Larry Tee and Shinichi Osawa among others, Autoerotique have become firm favourites among fans of hard-edged electro. Now part of the Dim Mak family, this new release confirms their growing status as 'Bubonic' engages some sick siren-synths, dirty bass and huge drums to maximum effect. Party favourite Drop The Lime has fun juggling the original?s monotone synths while Mustard Pimp takes it into an even darker and more rinsed-out place, using Prodigy-esque drums to max out the sound.

This is destined to be absolutely huge this summer. Already supported by Laidback Luke and Afrojack amongst others, get ready to hear this effortlessly funky banger pumped out over the next few months. With a militant snare-led soca beat and some exuberant Brazilian vocals, Silva builds the track perfectly. Apster and Kriss-One both shine on their mixes of "Told Ya," with both injecting a heavy electro feel. With the hypey "Blaze" also included on the single, expect Sandro Silva to be a name on everyone's lips this year.

Review:
Two radical reworkings of recent single "I Know" by NYC rock band The Willowz, put together by Dim Mak. First up on the remix is Mustard Pimp, who have been punishing eardrums with their ferocious mixes of Shinichi Osawa, Crookers and Larry Tee among others. "I Know" is no exception, winding the vocals around waves of vicious siren-synths and thick bass. Sticky K smooth things out a little more with some soca beats and tasty LFO filters giving their mix plenty of bounce and swagger. Two radical transformations that don't disappoint.

Review:
Swedish duo Olle Corneer and Stefan Engblom are back, with this epic tech-house smasher destined to become a favourite among DJs and bloggers over the next few weeks. On a heavy, Deadmau5-esque tip, the boys let sidechained synths and thick kicks do the talking, dipping out occasionally for some roof-raising breakdowns. DimMak's PeaceTreaty brings out more of the high frequencies while Bassjackers introduce a ghetto swing and some Dutch bleep-leads to their mix, while kwaito/Latin fan Alvaro gives it a full-on tropical make-over.

Review:
Simply astonishing stuff from Canadian electro don Felix Cartal. A man who's not only delivered must-have originals but also top remixes (such as his version of Green Velvet's "Harmageddon"), he outdoes himself on title tune "The Joker" by creating a build of such insane length, fervour and flat-out acid-flecked mentalness that he instantly goes to the top of 2011's "Most Outrageous Drop" chart. The beat's not to shabby either - a ghetto-electro hybrid with some fiercely block-rocking kicks anchoring the whole thing down. With the more slinky "The Riddler" backing it up, this is going to be a pretty memorable Dim Mak release.
